I am currently building the most perfect Beauty Guru/Vlogger’s Townhouse for you guys in celebration of Get Famous and I can’t even stand to finish it! The ceilings are PURPLE! This is a bug associated with the update. I’ve reached out to the gurus on twitter with no luck — has anyone else experienced this? The bug exists with and without CC. It is terrible for screenshots and builders 😕 Please share and reach out to the gurus so that I can get back to gifting these luxe homes to you guys lol

Newt imagine // Brother fights

Summary: Newt and Y/N are in a secret relationship. Y/N's brother Gally can't find out about it because everyone knows how protective he is about Y/N

Y/n p.o.v. 

Today, I'm making cookies with Frypan because we thought we should treat all those hard working gladers. I'm a cook with Frypan and I really enjoy it. 

I came in the glade a year ago and since then I've been in the kitchen most of the time. In that year I remembered Gally in my dreams and he remembered me. It turned out we're siblings and since then we did almost everything together, apart from working and sleeping but nothing much is left then.

And a few days ago me and Newt confessed our love for each other and since then we slept together in my bed. We are keeping it secret from the rest of the glade so Gally won't find out and go insane. He's very protective over me so I don't want him to beat up Newt when he finds out.

"Where is the second in command?!" I hear Gally shout from the homestead. He looks angry and he's looking around, trying to find something. Or someone. Then Gally sees my boyfriend by the track hoes and starts to run towards him. As soon as Gally is near Newt, he pushes Newt over.

"What the bloody hell, Gally?" Newt screams confused and he tries to get up but Gally holds him down.

"You know where that was for, shank!" Gally yells back and he hits Newt in the face. I just stand there in the kitchen with a knife in my hand, frozen at my place, watching the fight. I really want to help but at the moment I just can't move.

"Gally stop! What did I do?" Newt screams as Gally beats him up. At some moment Newt hits him back and Gally falls over so Newt can bend over and he coughs blood. This isn't good. My brother and boyfriend are fighting. Accidentally I drop the knife and it falls into my hand. I let out a soft scream as I grab a tissue and wrap it around my hand.

"If you come close to my sister once again, I will throw you off those walls myself!" Gally yells again and they start to fight. I need to stop this. Not caring about my hand, do I run to the fight where a lot of gladers have gathered around.

"Stop! Both of you!" I scream and they let each other go immediately. "What the hell are you guys thinking?" I ask, still yelling. They both shuffle awkwardly with their feet and look ashamed at the ground. "Gally, I know you're my brother and you want to protect me but I love Newt and he isn't gonna hurt me." I begin and look at Gally. "And Newt, I know you love me but you don't have to fight my brother for that." They both nod, still not looking at me. "Now you two are going to work with each other for the rest of the day until you get along." The gladers laugh and Gally and Newt look up with a desperate look.

"But..-" Newt starts but I shush him.

"No buts, I don't care if Alby doesn't want you two to help each other's work so he just has to live with it." I say, crossing my arms.

"I don't mind I at all, Y/n," I hear Alby say behind me as he gives me a hug which earns him two angry looks from two shanks named Gally and Newt. "They better work with each other for the rest of the week until they get along." The gladers cheer for Alby as he says that and I smile at the two boys.

"Agree," I say and walk back to the kitchen where Fry was watching the scenario happen.

"Good job, Y/n," he congratulates me. "Maybe after this, they'll finally stop hating each other.

"Or it gets worse," I mumble and I take the soaked tissues off my wound.

"What did you do?" Fry asks as he sees the wound and I smile.

"Those dorks gave me a heart attack, I'd better get to Clint," I say smiling and he nods as I leave the kitchen. Damn those dorks.

It's late in the evening now. Gally and Newt finally stopped working and I see them coming to the kitchen where I'm doing the dishes with Fry. Minho and Alby are sitting by the table and smile at me as they see them coming too.

"Hey boys, how was your day?" I ask happily as I hand them both a plate with dinner. They sit down on the table, Newt next to Minho and Gally next to Alby.

"Horrible," Newt mumbles and he takes a bite of the cooked potato. "This shank sucks at my job,"

"Yeah, and that shank sucks at building a shucking ladder!" Gally fires back. This didn't work at all but they still have a whole week left. I place my hands on the table in the middle and look them both in the eyes.

"Well, that's six more horrible days to go," I say smiling and I lift my hand up, making me groan of the stitches in my hand. They hurt like hell.

"Bloody hell, y/n, what did you do to your hand?" Newt asks me and he stands up to walk to me. He grabs my hand and let his thumb slide softly over my palm.

"I let a knife fell on I when I saw you two fighting and I got scared," I answer and he frowns, looking extremely worried and guilty.

"I'm sorry, love, I shouldn't have done that. Does it hurt much? I'm going to take care of you okay?" He chatters worried as He grabs my other hand tightly. I giggle when he pecks my forehead and pulls me into a hug.

"See how much he cares about me, Gally? No need to fight him." I smile and Gally nods with a guilty look in his eyes. Newt lets me go and I push him towards Gally. Gally stands up and now they're standing in front of each other. I place myself down between Minho and Ably and we all stare at them hoping they're going to apologize to each other.

"Well, I'm sorry, shank," Gally says and he holds his hand out, waiting for Newt to shake his hand.

"I'm sorry too," he says and he grabs Gally's hand and shakes it firmly. They smile and we cheer loudly. I run over to them and hug Gally while kissing Newt on his cheek.

They finally get along.
