Softness is Rebellion

Hi, I’m Hayley.  

I am a 40 year old weirdo from Oregon.  I like to create things that inspire or comfort or get someone to think of something as big as the universe or as small as a single act of kindness.  

I struggle, though, and sometimes it’s thinking of someone connecting with me through my work is the only thing that keeps me tethered!  There are so many terrible things in the world, from the big and out-of-control to the teeny tiny things in my life that keep me up at night and I feel like - damn! -  I wish there were some way to push back!  

I want to use my softness, my kindness, my belief in humans as rebellion!  Push back against the people who tell me that you can only meet strength with more strength.  

I want to know what makes you happy, what makes you feel connected to the universe, what soft things color your rebellion?
