intimacy w/ haoyu means you'll always have a third party either watching, listening, or part of the experience. the entity that lives in his body isn't too talkative usually but it's. it's still there. how it feels... idk? they're chill about it, like i havent rlly thought about it much but it's important to remember it's present sobs.

" he hums. to be fair, he didn't usually hand his contact info out to just anyone- client or not. in truth haoyu quite liked sunday. the man had the sort of personality that contrasted his own... just enough to be interesting. and there was the matter of their time working together. chasing after something that haunted a corner of this beautiful dream- it was fun...

he's tempted just then... when he reaches out, gestures for him to follow. he is so terribly tempted to take hold of his hand. maybe lace their fingers together, and see how he reacts it to. haoyu thinks better of it though, and matches his pace as they make their way. " me? oh, i'm enjoying the busy-ness work provides me. being able to stay in one spot for a while has been nice. " like a bird, able to nest for once. he's liked the the temporary consistency. of course... he takes a seat when offered. she's got a point; what good would it be to help one of his kind? but haoyu never was very conventional in regards to his work. any proper exorcist wouldn't dare step foot in a place like this. and if they did- it would be with the express purpose of pushing the patrons from the premises.

" they've tried taking someone from me. " it is perhaps a long shot, to try empathy with demons and horrors. but he has found their kind often times have laws and even morals of their own. it is just... different. " my nephew. the demon that came here to hide away... they target children. and i assume they hope you will protect them from me. but i ask you let me have them. in return i will owe you a favor. however useful that favor may or may not be. it is all i have to offer. "

the mistress of the night issues a soft hum in thought, considering his request in regard to the rules of her establishment. so long as this entity did not seek to cause any trouble ... this hunter would have to make an enticing offer to sway her judgement. all are welcome here, after all. " sit, " venus instructs with the graceful gesture of one clawed hand, " I'll need more details if I'm to give you a solid yes or no answer, exorcist. as I'm sure you're aware ... many of my patrons are targets of your profession. myself included. " there are many sets of eyes upon him; surely some of them expect her to grace his presence with her teeth. " so ... why should I help you?"

he did not usually entertain himself with these sorts of places. but haoyu was following a lead. something he was after chose to hide within the noire, believing him too cowardly to dare enter. of course... he knew the rules. but there was nothing that said he couldn't seek aid here. there was no intention to hunt on the premises, only to push the parasite out of hiding. powerful as he was, it would be stupid to pointlessly put himself in danger for something like this.

" -of course, i fully intend to respect your rules. miss spade. " a nod of his head. he's never thought lying particularly useful. " but there is something here that i would ask you assist me with in removing. if possible. "

" he jests. in truth he believed that when all was said and done- they would part ways for good. it was the way of things in his line of work. but, haoyu is hardly ashamed of his excitement. the momentary glee he felt in receiving a message from the other. and of course, sunday has made it plenty clear this wasn't for any kind of work. " kidding- of course. want to get some lunch then? you know the area more than me, so i trust you to take me someplace nice, haha... "

so after some plotting, i've reconsidered:

haoyu: bisexual / dom / vers vivian: ur rlly only gonna get her if u make a pact with her. she's VERY dom. also literally an edlritch , lovecraftian god. not worth it i promise u... yuura: pansexual?? / ??? / verse ( isnt sure what he likes better ) mal: whatever. they / them / she. they're a demon do u wanna risk that wuya: bisexual ( male leaning ) / switch / verse

yuura is a... nonspecific species of merfolk. he's capable of swapping between human to sea serpent, and shifting in between the two. his merform looks like a strange combination between several fish; eel , lionfish , shark , with some specific spots displaying bioluminescence in certain situations. this form is roughly around 15ish feet long , and is covered mostly in a thick skin. the majority of this form and his true form ( a sea monster ) is very eel like. but he's got venomous spines that cover certain portions of his body- that fan out when he feels threatened.

he'd initially surfaced from the deep quite slowly. curiosity called him back to the world above after who knows how long. and it was during the modern era that yuura chose to take human form and walk on land. he finds himself incredibly charmed by how things have changed from what he was told. and comes across as odd at times due to how little he knows- or how excited he gets about certain things.

a nice effect of being around haoyu,,, for those with supernatural afflictions or parasites. is that his presence can usually quiet them some.

subdue entirely? no. he's strong for sure, but i've been kind of discussing it with people and- i really don't think he'd want to cause more trouble until he knows more about the issue? he will pick up on things very, very quickly. but he rarely ever asks about them, or brings it up. because he doesn't know if the people effected know they are or not. he's had terrible experiences in the past where trying anything too soon has led to unnecessary harm. so he's careful, methodical in how he approaches these things. and may as times seem... like he's trying to make friends. when in reality he's just trying to learn everything he can.

has he made friends from these situations? sure i guess. but there have been times in the past where it's led to misunderstandings. or assumptions, which forces haoyu to admit why he's there. some have taken it well, others not so much. it's a hit or a miss- and he always apologizes for not being clear on his purpose for being there. met many times with skepticism and disbelief. but regardless, people are usually better off, despite any potential heartbreak.
