i see no vision of this post getting popular, but i just want to put this up, and most importantly pin it so that people are aware of how this accounts being handled.

so this blog has been inactive over maybe a year. there’s a few reposts here and there, but i don’t think i’ve posted a lot of art. so i just wanted to give a short explanation as to why.

so as time goes on, i kind of lose interest in something. and i loved creepypasta for years. still very fixated on it. but more so in my own time. i started this blog as a way to just,, kind of share my interest, and to get my art out there. i really like my art, and i want other people to like it too. but i’ve just kind of lost feeling or happiness of sharing any of my art. i realized the further i got into posting, i felt rushed. my follower count went up pretty fast out of nowhere, and all of the sudden people were super interested in what i had to share. a part of me loved this, i was getting recognized and i made really friendly mutuals that shared the same opinions and interests as me. but another part of me felt overwhelmed by the sudden attention. i started to realize that i was just making a lot of art,, for the sake of making art, and not for the sake of my own enjoyment. i don’t want to make art for the reason that I just have a big audience… if that makes sense. there are a lot of popular accounts on Tumblr, and i very much do NOT compare. 400 followers to a lot of people on this app doesn’t seem like much, but when you’re a very new artist to social media, it can be a little new and strange. so 400 is a pretty big number for me. i don’t post on Twitter. i don’t post on Pinterest. i don’t post on really anything. this is kind of the first app i took my chance with because i felt like a lot more people here would pretty much appreciate,, you know,, the culture of creepy pasta. i mean most if not all of it came from tumblr lol. another problem i had, was i wanted this blog strictly for creepypasta. but like any other normal person, you will have different interests. and the plan to keep my other interests out of my main blog was to make another Tumblr account so that people wouldn’t be bombarded with stuff that they didn’t want to see on an account that mainly posted creepypasta. but it didn’t work out, and i just realized i would prefer if i kept everything in one account because it felt cluttered in a way. but i realized a lot of people were losing interest, and it kind of made me feel a little down. i wasn’t too upset, though. i knew the consequences. i had stopped being active on one account to post on another that wasn’t as big. but i reallt like poppy playtime, and i like stuff that has to do with my friends OCs. the problem with this is i know a lot of people don’t like poppy playtime. a lot of people have very different opinions on it, which is fine, so i still posted it on my blog, but I avoided doing it very often. and with my friends OCs, i just want to respect their boundaries because they don’t really want them posted anywhere, which is fine by me, but it’s just another reason why i haven’t been posting art because i’ve also been focused on making art of this other thing that doesn’t want to be openly shared. don’t take this in a way of “oh because of my friend i haven’t been posting“ it’s just the fact that i really like this other thing and I’ve been putting more time into it and that’s my own decision…

so the question is, where does the blog go from here? i still want to be active on this account in a way. i actually did plan to draw jeff and post it here, because i feel like this is my main jeff land LOL. i do draw all the other creepy pastas. i draw toby and ben a lot,, cause,, you know,, they’re peak. but i just don’t post it. maybe in the future i’ll change my mind and just kind of drop it all down, but for right now i just wanna keep it all to myself until I’m ready. because i don’t want people to get used to me posting a lot of art and then just stopping all over again. so the answer is: i’ll still repost a lot, but art will not be frequent. and if you follow me, or if you’re a mutual, and maybe you don’t like this decision, or you don’t want to follow accounts that are inactive, you are completely free to unfollow. like i said, i’ll still be here. i’ll still repost a lot of mutual art, but i don’t know about posting anything myself so,, yeah.

thank you, though. i appreciate literally anybody who’s liked my art, reposted, or just took the time to look at my posts. it’s 5 AM while i’m making this, so maybe in the morning a lot of this will need to be grammar corrected or a lot of it won’t make any sense. so just expect maybe like one or two edits of this post but no real changes..
