can we talk about the fact that kachan believes enough in kiri to test his insanely powerful howitzer attack on him?

if we remember back when kirishima first talked about his quirk insecurity to some of the guys, kachan seemed to be in disbelief to hear it.

kachan definitely fully believes that kirishima’s quirk is powerful, and on the above panel, he’s practically letting him know that.

i’m just so impressed by how this friendship is written and developed and i love seeing kachan interact with kiri because he’s just so, uh… different in how he approaches social situations, and kirishima accepts this literally without problem

just, this series in general writes casual friendships and classmate relationships really damn well. sure when shows have romance it’s all good and well but nothing gets me right in the kokoro as much as a really well written friendship. bonus points if it’s almost kinda tucked into the background as opposed to being all in your face all the time, it adds a really natural feeling to it imo.

anyway, here’s kachan’s friendship lesson of the day: shoot a missile at your friend to tell him you support him and believe in him.

Fun facts about some of kirishima’s tattoos: –He gets tattooed phrases he likes from movies and tv shows –He has 5 spiderwebs! Represent the number of spiders he owned throughout his childhood….what a nerd –When he found out he was gay he got a rainbow and that was his first tattoo :’) –Some of his tattoos are on top of another either to cover them up or bc he simply wanted them to be there lol –He doesn’t really regret getting any of his tattoos since they all represent a certain point of his life but covering them up somehow makes it feel like he moved on for the best and it makes him feel better
