This is by far the funniest thing to ever come out of the Kenobi show, the entire thing was worth it just for this

One of the powerful parts of the show was how normal, scared people, who are not even named, meet their challenges with immense kindness and bravery. The people on the cruiser did not want Obi-Wan to leave even though his presence would guarantee their deaths. The neighbor on Tatooine, instead of leading Reva straight to Owen and Luke, buys Owen time and gives him a warning. The villagers refuse to give up the Jedi living among them. Normal people without the force or power or connections form a network to help the targeted and vulnerable people escape.
People do not need the force to be kind, brave, and powerful, and I am so appreciative that the show showed us that.
Throughout this show, we see so many beautiful moments of kindness.
We see the small things, like one of the workers at Obi-Wan's meat plant job thing sharing a water pitcher with someone else while on the transport back. Or even after Vader does his terrifying murder spree on Mapuzo in that village, the people of the village come to check on each other after he walks away.
Then we see the bigger things, like Tala putting herself at risk to save Obi-Wan multiple times. We see Leia telling Tala to do so, Leia helping the other people find hope with LOLA, Leia helping Obi-Wan find himself again throughout the show.
And then there's Obi-Wan himself — who sees all of this and learns that even with the Empire, even with Vader and the Jedi being broken down like this — taking off on his own so that Vader will pursue him while everyone else can get to safety. Willingly facing Vader again so that 1. he can come to let go of Anakin once and for all, and 2. so that the future of the Jedi can live on (as he literally says in the episode).
He sees the kindness that the Path has demonstrated for him specifically (remember, they helped him when he was injured after episode 3) and for Jedi and Force-sensitives throughout the galaxy, and he wants to reciprocate it.
And so he does.
And in doing so, Obi-Wan Kenobi becomes himself again, and begins to look to the future for hope.
And that is how he overcame.
Ever since I became an Obi-Wan fan, that was what I wanted to know about Obi-Wan. I wanted to know exactly how he overcame everything that happened in ROTS (because. it's a LOT) to become who he is in ANH. And this show answers that question in the most beautiful, meaningful way.
It's through kindness and hope.

of complete simplicity
He sits silently, his back straight and head bent, with his hands resting on his crossed knees, palms open to the universe above him. His eyes are closed, and the whispering sands and mournful winds of the desert around him are falling away to be replaced by the susurration of the Force, swirling around him and through him. It is everything, demands everything, and he willing gives all it requires.

one of the things that struck me that I cannot and will never get over is how much Obi-Wan loves Luke and Leia for their own sakes. they are not just the hope of the galaxy, the children of the Chosen One, and a reminder of all he lost.
they are children who make him smile, who bring him joy and hope and power and laughter in the midst of a darkness falling over the galaxy that they have no guarantee will disappear. Leia is a girl with a droid and sass and love, and Luke a boy with a ship and curiosity and bravery, and you cannot see anything in Obi-Wan’s eyes but the love he has for them as they are.
