Creators Now Revealed! (Survey!)

After a long week of anonymity and Christmas-y cheer, the creators for all works have finally been revealed!

The admins would like to thank each and every one of you for participating in this exchange. You all are the ones who made this gift exchange possible, and we are very grateful for your support.

Throughout the exchange timeline, there were some things that went smoothly, and others that didn't go over quite so well. To address these matters and improve our performance in the future, we would appreciate it if you filled out a short survey about the 2014 TKG Winter Exchange, linked here.

Final Reveal is Approaching!

It has now been one week since the works in the AO3 collection were made public. Within the next 24 hours, the collection's anonymous mask will be taken off for the final reveal.

Thank you all for your patience and your participation! Both the admins found the exchange to be a very exciting experience and hope that you had fun with your gifts as well. We are looking forward to hosting more events in the future!

Update

Due to some gifts being incorrectly addressed, some people weren't receiving notifications. We've emailed the gifts to all those recipients, there are still two gifts on the way, but those people have been notified that their gifts will be late.

Last Call for Submissions

The extended deadline is 11:59PM EST, today, December 24th! There's a little over 12 hours left to submit your final assignment for those of you who have not yet posted your gift to the collection.

There have been several incidents where individuals claim they are unable to post to the collection because it is closed, but that is not necessarily the case. As per the posting directions that were posted earlier on, you will create a new work as you normally would, but type in "2014tkgwinter" to the collections box which is located in the Associations section. This is the 'command' of sorts to the website to slot your work into the group's AO3 collection.

Below is an example of what the associations section of your submission should look like:

Please get your assignments in within the extended deadline! If you have circumstances where you will be unable to post by the deadline, please let the admins know so that they can open the collection up for you manually at a later time. If you still have questions regarding your submissions, please let the admins know ASAP!

Final Submission Deadline Has Passed

If you have not submitted your final assignment, you have been sent an email regarding the situation. We are now entering a brief extension period, and your new deadline is now 11:59PM EST today, December 24th.

The collection is scheduled to close automatically on the midnight of Christmas, so posting will not be possible if you do not adhere to this new deadline. Please by sure to get your submission in.

This is also the deadline for any pinch-hitters who may not have submitted their works yet. Please let the admins know if you require a further extension.

I'm a little confused what do you mean by 'Once the creators have been revealed and you would like to officially gift your work to your recipient’s AO3 pseud, you may do so'? So do we have to put in the ao3 username of our recipient in the 'gift this work to' field when we submit to the collection now or add it later? Sorry for the trouble!

It's really up to you at this point. You can gift it to them right away, oor if you don't feel like it you may add them later. Sorry for the confusion!
