important update on fundraiser

hellooo everyone!!!! we have reached our initial goal of 1500!!!! 🥹 i want to firstly thank everyone who has donated :,) with just 45 donors we were able to reach such a large sum pretty fast!! i also want to thank everyone who has shared and reblogged,, thank you for helping us spread the word <3

as you can see, paypal is putting a huge chunk of the money on hold (because my paypal balance went from 0 to 500 in a day 😭) but they are slowly adding it to my balance! we’ll send our first 750$ donation to Careforgaza, and as soon as the rest of money is added, we’ll donate the second half to UNRWA, as planned

also, there has been a total of 61.08$ deducted as conversion fees from the 1545$ donation. as i said, i will cover said difference myself on top of my donation (this way you guys won’t lose any money)! i’m just waiting for my work to pay me 😭 (since it’s freelance work with the gov there isnt a specific pay date but it is soon)

finally, i know that stayblr is composed of more than 45 people, so i’m setting our next goal to 2k so we can include evacuation gofundme’s & e-sims to our fundraiser! i hope this inspires people to donate as much as you are able to spare so that we can help as many people as possible.
