choosing to kill off the one character whose whole storyline is about guilt and forgiving herself and has struggled for years with a drug addiction and is finally sober recovering and regaining her will to live after a recent suicide attempt is. well. it’s
You know what? This episode got me angry. They all chose Lottie over Nat. Lottie GAVE THEM PERMISSION TO EAT HER and they said no. Lottie was willing, and they said no. Lottie wanted it, Lottie volunteered to have Shauna beat her to death and they said “no, we’ve decided for you. We’ve decided we know better than you. We need you.” Then Nat draws the queen card and they all fucking stand there like she hasn’t been their provider. Like she hasn’t been busting her starving, hungry ass every single day to hunt for them while they sit and meditate in the trees with Lottie. They let her draw the card and they don’t even blink, and Shauna is so fucking ready to slaughter nat without a second thought. And Nat says “hang on, you need to look me in the eyes. Acknowledge what you’re choosing to do right now,” it’s still not enough. They charge out of that cabin after her with fire in their eyes. They’ll never kill their precious Lottie, even though she’s willing. But Nat the fighter, Nat the hunter, is fair game.
