I felt like going through my krakencon posts from over the past few years. The first con I hosted a panel at. The owners at Kraken were always very friendly and after my first panel, they invited me again to host the same panel telling me that they liked how unique it was from other panels. This allowed me to have more fun with VK fashion and make new friends who also love VK. Loved that this con had a free photo station with professional photographers, free celebrity autographs, once in a while on the aircraft carrier for epic photos and videos, and this last one had jousting, larping sword battles, and archery target practice. I really enjoyed this con and am sad to see that it didnt get to stay around longer. I have a lot of footage to sort through, so it’ll be a while till the youtube vids are up. But here are some previews. I also wanted to take the time to thank you all for making Crunhyroll Expo so great. Whether hanging out with me and chatting, taking photos, or just waving at me from the distance and smiling. I truly appreciate all of this. Events like this are really my only times to get to be social and be myself. Every other day is just exercising at the gym, going to work, and walking my dog. So even short moments I get to spend with people at events are very cherished by me. Especially with the months leading up to crunchyroll, I was focused on nothing but my usagi cosplay. Pushed for longer gym times. Pushed for more intensity at the gym. Pushed to stick to lower calories and lower net carbs leading up to the event. No time for video games, no time for movies or seeing friends, just all tunnel vision for the event. And even paying for a gym guest pass saturday morning and having a 2-3 hour pump before changing into Usagi. So now I’mma just rest a bit.
