this is my childhood warrior cats oc sandtail. this drawing is from like 2008 or 2009. i remember nothing about her but it cracks me up that she has the most bland name ever.

While brambleclaw tries as hard as he can to be as different from his father (and fails), Hawkfrost strives to be like the idea hes built up in his head of the father that he never knew. because the stories hes heard from sasha and leopardstar (his mentor) are very different from the tigerstar that bramble and tawny grew up knowing vaguely and hearing about

if i were to rewrite tnp i would make the sundrown patrol brambleclaw, leafpaw, hawkfrost, tawnypelt, and i guess crowfeather. squirrelpaw might also go i havent decided yet. the whole arc would be entirely from leafpool or squirrelflights perspectives but only one of them idk which.

the whole thing is an effort by starclan to allow tigerstar's children to prove their loyalty and also to hopefully prevent them from following the same path as their father by having them bond with cats from other clans. crowfeather is added just so windclan isnt left out. and bc he was mudclaws apprentice and they have an inkling about mudclaw's ambitions or whatever.

mothwing is the one that gets the dream abt the sundrown place and mentions it to hawkfrost but hawkfrost overhears bramble and tawny talking about it at a gathering and claims HE had the dream. he's using this as an opportunity to prove himself to riverclan and hopefully rise through the ranks at an expidited rate. (he and mothwing are very favored by leopardstar because of her situationship with sasha but everyone assumes it was bc her previous loyalties with tigerstar. so they are not liked by riverclan at large but still get special treatment which makes everyone like them less)

leafpaw gets the fire and tiger prophecy and goes on the sundrown patrol to keep an eye on squirrelpaw and brambleclaw but she and hawkfrost end up "falling in love".

anyway that's what ive got right now. i dont like feathertail and stormfur so they're just background characters. sorry.

One thing I’ve noticed on here recently is an increase of people tagging posts about general transphobia with both “transmisogyny” and “transandrophobia,” so I think we need to go over this point again:

Transmisogyny is not a “type” of transphobia.

Tagging posts about the general experiences of trans people which have nothing to do with the specific experiences of transfems as “transmisogyny” is pretty unhelpful since it’s a misidentification of what transmisogyny is. The additional tagging of “transandrophobia” further drives home the idea that the people who do this don’t understand that transmisogyny is not transphobia directed at trans women; these experiences are not one-to-one.

Remember, transmisogyny is a type of misogyny (a manifestation of patriarchy) aimed at a group of people whose womanhood and/or femininity is denied/revoked and relegated to the third category of gender, “failed women.”

Tagging posts about topics relevant to all trans people (TMA and TME alike) with “transmisogyny,” especially when you tag it alongside “transandrophobia,” waters down the meaning.
