Prob not the site to share this take on (or maybe it is idk I’m not active here much anymore) but I Hate the fan theory that Rodney is Lola’s dad. Because why would her dad just let her live like that? The only adult on the show that cares about her is her dad, but he doesn’t quite care enough to fight for custody so she’s not living on hot pockets and perfume squirts? As her mom’s parole officer, that’s a man going above and beyond his job description and doing about as much as he legally can for her. As her father that’s just letting your child suffer and for what reason exactly? It just devalues their relationship idk.

And before anyone says he doesn’t Know he’s Lola’s dad, the guy isn’t stupid. He’d probably be able to work out the timeline. And ALSO before anyone says I’m taking the show too seriously maybe so, and what about it?
