Hi, new here, but I am going to rant about the Wednesday Netflix Series. Specifically about Wenclair. (Also, if there's a grammar mistake, I apologize, english is not my first language.)

Now I am a firm believer that Wednesday does not need a romantic partner. But this is Netflix, so come on. So if the show DOES need Wednesday to have a partner, it should be Enid. It just makes sense. But they're going to be lesbians. And this is Netflix, so come on.

Now why do they make sense?

Me, personally, I'm just a lesbian, thirsty for content. But also, consider this:

They're cute. Sun and Moon. Grumpy and Sunshine. Colorful and Monotone. Polar opposites. Friends to Lovers.

There's a lot of content here, and they can do a lot about this, and most of all, it's a very nice and tasty SLOWBURN.

Now here's the problem. I get it. We all want our lesbian pairing to be together. Maybe I'm just terrible with reading the comments and reading between the lines and thinking too seriously about it. But do people who like the pairing actually want them to be together immediately in season 2? Like...do you guys not want the slowburn? Or am I just a masochist for wanting to be tortured and see them subconsciously doing cute things to each other, like for example, Wednesday giving one of her favorite serial killer's dolls to Enid as a gift. Which is very Addams of her!

Like...why do I keep seeing comments that they NEED to see them two together in season two immediately?

But also I kind of get it?

Give me my slowburn with the assurance that they'll be together goddammit! 😭
