8. One of our muses cooks while the other watches.

         Caitlyn watched from her seat at the bar island of the kitchen, chin propped in her hand, as Jhin worked. How or why she agreed to let him into her home, her SANCTUARY, she wouldn't ever come to understand. He was a killer and she was the law; he had no business being within fifty feet of her for any reason at all. And yet, here he was, toiling over a stove just a little more than arm's reach away from where she sat, supposedly making a meal that would benefit them both. It troubled her, but despite the flawed logic of the situation, the woman felt oddly content and at ease. For some reason, she trusted that she wouldn't come under any harm by his own hand... at least, not yet. Not tonight.          There was something about him that the Sheriff had come to respect over their past meetings, and she assumed that the Virtuoso felt the same. He hadn't made any move to harm or otherwise hinder her, and likewise, she had yet to go out of her way to work against him. It was as if some silent agreement had been struck between them, and neither dared tread on the other person’s toes. Friendship? Perhaps, yet it was something not quite.     ❝  How's it coming along?  ❞

Why do you think you’re feeling dizzy?” “I can give you some pills to help you sleep. They aren’t healthy, but this is even less healthy.” “If you didn’t just blink I would’ve sworn you were dead, that’s how sickly you’re looking. Go to bed, please!” “Have you drank all of these bottles in one weekend?!” “I know you don’t want this, but it’s for your own good. Sign the papers so they can pick you up tomorrow and you can get clean.” “What the hell are you doing?! Did you do that to yourself?!” “When was the last time you left the house? Or opened the curtains for that matter.” “Here, just keep breathing. It’ll be okay. Better out than in…” “This can’t go on like this! You’re not eating, you’re not sleeping, you barely talk!” “I’m sorry. I went through your room and found this. Explain what the hell this is doing in your room!” “I thought you’d quit! How long have you been lying to me?” “I’m only trying to help and right now I think I have a much better idea of what you need than you do.” “Did you take anything? Why are you passing out? Hey! Stay with me!”

[mouth]: are their lips always drawn thin or are they plump and kissable, what's their "default expression"/resting face, do they have all their own teeth, do they use their teeth to smile, etc.

// Caitlyn’s lips are contoured, with a prominent cupid’s bow and a plumper lower lip, but overall they are relatively thin. Her default expression is only what can be described as ‘resting bitch-face’ as she looks annoyed all the time with her mouth being set into a hard line. Yes, she has all of her own teeth, and they’re well cared for. She rarely uses her them to smile, however, for on the rare occasion she does smile it’s usually nothing more than the corners of her mouth upturning. She also isn’t fond of using lipsticks or glosses, but will use balms if they start to become chapped.

She then held out a small bag filled with paper. “I hope this makes up for my delay.”

         Caitlyn lowers her cup just enough to speak, outwardly unfazed by their tastelessness.
