I think I’m going to do this with doodling! I’m planning to randomly choose something here by myself and do it. It will probably be Kalex mainly, but if any Kalex or BlackHill shipper wants to pick a prompt and ask me to draw, I can work on that! So feel free to ask ;)

3DCG Artist. ;)  (I probably won’t do 3DCG works in here though. This blog is for drawing/doodling fanarts and stuff.)

what programme did you use to make this 3D model of Kara's apartment?

Maya. And I exported the file in .fbx format to upload in Sketchfab. I use Maya for my job so I have the license for it. But what I did in that model is very simple, and it can be done by any popular 3D software. You probably can use Maya for 1 month trial for free, but it’s pretty expensive in general. I don’t know the background reason you’re asking this question, so I can’t say for sure, but I recommend other software like Blender, if you’re looking for 3D software to begin with. (It’s for free)

Kara’s apartment in simple 3D model

So its super simple and super in the middle(not really finished) but I don’t really have time, and I’m not going into details for now, so I’m dropping it like this.  I don’t think its super accurate, but I did use human body model so I hope the scales are not that different. I uploaded the data on Sketchfab so if anyone wants to check and use it for their fanart’s(fanfiction) guide or something, please help yourself. (I did adjust scale for VR so if you have VR-visor, you might can go in) Kara’s room is superrrr huge, I already knew this, but by making this into 3D model, I noticed how big it is....

Immopengu showed a video of cute penguins and I was like, ooh, maybe Kara would have met them when she went to Fortress of Solitude! I want to draw that! And then, I noticed later, that penguins don’t exist in North Pole.(This is the end of a story)

I know Alex now has her own cool suite, but I wanted to understand the structure of the old tactical gear first. I actually couldn’t find same ones so most of them are made up but I kind of understand how to draw them now, so that’s good. I thought what she was wearing was a “tactical vest” but I found out it’s probably a “chest rig”. I’m learning new things... ;) Her accessory on the rig changes time to time, but it seems she has the combat knife quite often in the earlier season. I wish she would have used her combat knife sometime. (Did I miss it?)
