people conveniently forget that elektra is a victim. she was also abused by stick as much (if not more) as matt, forced to kill in self defense or else she’d face consequences. abandoned and left an orphan. manipulated into following orders. stop diminishing her to the objective view of how she treated matt, but rather understand why she did what did, the circumstances and her obligation.

she was scolded for falling in love with him, punished for wanting to lead a semi-normal life with someone that shared her trauma. matt understood her in ways no one else did. she didn’t ask for any of this, she was a helpless child just like matt. also i don’t need to say how sad it is how little people care/have sympathy that she was violated by being resurrected. she died the first time thinking she wasn’t capable of love and that it was her destiny to be a monster. she deserved to be free from the abuse and lack of happiness, and they robbed her of the peace of death. stop villainizing her unreasonably in service of loving matt murdock. stop thinking of her as a bad omen. humanize elektra.
