Yeah, I'm still alive, sorry to disappoint you guys. XD All jokes aside, I've been really busy and life has been sucking my soul out. I do still want to write, it's just difficult to hold onto those bursts of motivation every now and then. I miss y'all and I still do appreciate you.
Please take care of yourselves. <3

𝐖𝐇𝐈𝐂𝐇 𝐓𝐘𝐏𝐄 𝐎𝐅 𝐕𝐈𝐋𝐋𝐀𝐈𝐍 𝐀𝐑𝐄 𝐘𝐎𝐔?
No Moral Compass
You are cold, analytical, and you strive to be as objective as a person of flesh and blood can be. Either don't understand the concepts of good and evil, or you understand it perfectly and think it's a load of bull. Some may call you selfish, some may call you unfeeling, but you're just doing what you believe will yield the best results, plain and simple. Why bother with petty ideals of right or wrong when you can do what will actively help those you give a fuck about? Your goals may be selfish or noble or anything in between, but you will not let anyone make you feel like garbage for going after them. You couldn't care less about what people brand you as. You just care about getting shit done by any means necessary.

❝ you have quite a story. i really am a little jealous. ❞
((@builttosave for Alice in her movie verse!))
"Sounds like you had quite the dull life then," Alice joked with a soft laugh. She must look exhausted, because she sure feels like it. Like she hadn't slept in months. Most sleep she had was when she was knocked out for a few hours.
Last time she'll ever turn her back to another survivor.
"I wouldn't even give you the story if it was possible. Not the story you'd want to live, take my word." Suddenly, she's really, really thirsty so she chugs the water bottle she found during one of her scavenging runs. It was a miracle-- like finding the pot of gold.
"And what about you, hm? That is if you don't mind sharing your story." She glances at Claire as she shoves the empty bottle in her backpack, genuinely curious about how the other survivor came to be in this situation. Maybe a part of it is pure caution. A habit of hers, searching for ANY indicators of one's possible involvement with Umbrella Corporation.
Or more like a survival tactic, rather than 'habit'.

050. on a bustling harbor dock as ships come and go .
((K-Mart and Alice!))
Beautiful and almost unreal. Only almost unreal because this felt more like a dream than reality. Something neither of them had seen for, what-- years? They were used to seeing dead things, hearing silence and standing in empty spaces. Well, not so much silence for Alice with all the whispering from the virus. But you get the point.
Alice was quiet as she sat on the edge of the dock, boot-clad feet dangling over water. Just staring ahead with the occasional glance at the passing ships. It was a slow process, taking in the fact they were among civilization again. The kind that didn't want to eat you alive or stab you for a bag of canned food.
For a moment, Alice felt... afraid. Truly afraid. That all of this would disappear again and she would be somehow responsible for it.
"...Never thought you'd see something like this, huh?" She finally spoke in a murmur to the younger woman next to her.

“You’re not perfect! Stop pretending that you are!”
((Catalina and Alice!))
Say what again? Alice had to take a moment and look at the other woman in a certain manner-- almost like Catalina had sprouted a second head or something. Baffled by such words. So much that her initial response was a laugh, almost scornful. Certainly void of mirth or amusement.
Eyes darkened with a quiet anger, muscles in her neck and shoulders suddenly tense and she takes a slow, deep breath. Followed by a rough exhale.
"I don't know what in the world gave you the idea I would think of such... utter crap." She scoffs. "It's hard to think you're perfect when you've been turned into a freak against your own will, but you wouldn't know anything about that and I'm sure as hell glad you don't." The look she gives with the last comment is pointed.
It was true. Alice didn't want anyone else to feel what she felt, didn't want anyone to live with what she had to. Fighting for control over your own body and emotion, every single day.
"Was there something you needed?"

In the mood for apocalyptic threads and stuff. So I'm mostly feeling Alice, Ellie, Jade or Carla as I play TLOU2 in between replies. Feel free to send in something for one of these lovelies. Yes, I'm also doing select replies in between.

9o﹕ sender helps receiver patch up a wound . & 94﹕ sender pulls receiver into their lap. For Alice from Isabella
She was still reasonably pissed off. Luckily they only got her in the arm-- just unfortunate it wasn't a flesh wound this time. Bastard wasn't 'fighting to survive'... a blind person could've seen the lie a mile away. No, this person was playing God and thinking he could get whatever he wanted, do whatever he wanted. When she didn't comply to his ludicrous demand, he decided to TRY take it by force and failed. Miserably.
She didn't want to end his life, but unfortunately she was given no choice in the messy situation. It was either her, or him.
"Don't." Her voice was hoarse when Isabella began to pull her into the blonde's lap, her own body tensing up by pure instinct and she stood. She really tried to not let her breath shake, but it did anyway when she made eye contact with the other woman. "I'm sorry. It's... it's not you. I just-- I need a minute."
Turning away from Isabella, she walked off in search for the closest bottle of drinkable alcohol. Tequila on the counter of the mini-bar. Good enough. Just one shot, that's all she needed right now. She knew better than to chug the whole thing down. Not with the kid sleeping in the next bedroom. Becky didn't need to see her drunk.

Rewatching an old TLOU2 playthrough from one of my favorite streamers, just so I could get back into the apocalyptic muse... man, I remember how crazy it was when Joel died.
I still think it was a great game. They did a great job with the story and all. I hate that Joel died, but you know... nothing is all sunshine, butterflies and happy in an apocalyptic world. Trauma, rage, hate, angst and especially vengeance are bound to happen. Joel did kill a lot of people, including someone's father who just happened to be the one doctor who could develop the cure. He pissed a lot of people off.
But Ellie learned the hard way to forgive him.
That's one damn good story and character development, you can't convince me otherwise. In summary, TLOU series is not for the faint of heart.
#heres hoping i can get back into writing alice and ellie soon#theyre my apocalyptic babies :')#ooc.#mobile.

I feel like Carla is literally the only one out of the 6 slayers that finds fun in everything and is utterly reckless, not giving a fuck. But yeah, she's probably is NOT okay and she doesn't really let that little voice say so out loud. Sort of like a coping method for her through the evident trauma everywhere around her.
The longer she sort of denies the heavy reality check, the longer she'll be okay... until her breaking point.
