20.OkeanElzy
http://20.okeanelzy.com/en/
Is a virtual museum that exhibits the creativity of a Ukrainian rock band; Okean Elzy. The site is fully interactive and its content consists of the bands musical career. The virtual museum was designed by a professional architecture and a web designer.
Each of Okean Elzy’s 8 albums has their own interactive exhibit. The installation has an element that is inspired by the album’s cover art. You have the ability to scroll down and read more about the album and its content. The site was designed to be seen on both a mobile and desktop and it’s even used as a virtual exhibition before the start of the band’s concert. You can download the app and use your phone as a control to navigate through the museum. If you don’t use this as an option there are other elements for navigation such as interactive pointers.

Interactive Website
30 pieces 30 species is a narrative website that has interactive features which invites visitors to explore website. The goal of the website is to bring awareness to endangered species. Each entry has its own custom animation and facts about the endangered animal. Animals are represented through puzzle pieces and have an origami effect by using minimal shapes. It intrigues you to keep scrolling since the visuals are interesting and interactive. There’s a section that tells you how the effects were created and there’s even a diagram that shows you how it works. It was made in CSS, by transitioning polygons into shapes which are morphed with each time a new coordinate is assigned. This is an example of how rethinking a typical design is beneficial instead of using a typical design that is commonly used for awareness sites. This will create a new experience while still obtaining the overall message.
