I kept thinking about this scene where Leo is sitting separately from his brothers, in the other room while they gather to watch a cartoon.

I believe this is showing how he’s suffering and has changed. How he’s been forced to mature. Everything he’s been through and currently going through is having an effect on him. He may never be the same and I don’t think he should be, some of his innocence has been destroyed - not to mention he’s wrestling with the fact that his father may have been killed.
