i think fiction should be abolished. if yo uwrite about a character dying you should be put on trial in real life for murder
#As someone who works in special education and use to go the whole age range for the school system#I would run into teenagers that full on act like and fully believed this#There's a reason they needed some extra educational support because they would be performing well in school on paper#But they'd also just despise the mere concept of like fiction or even ancient people being wrong and it would cause them to lose their mind#This was not a one off thing it happened multiple times over the course of years#I think some of these kids are probably somewhere out there on tumblr doing real numbers right now#Also one time I tried encouraging a kid to improve himself at math by telling him about how some ancient societies thought math was magic#and he got so irrationally angry about that because ``magic is not real!`` and I was like ``ancient people can be wrong``#and he kept getting more and more angry and livid that we had to stop the math lesson so he could stand outside and cool down#he said it was such an outraged and moral tone too which at the time really caught a new to special education me off guard#but now I understand that such behavior is actually pretty common on the autistic spectrum#I think that's a less understood element of the autistic experience that is entirely overlooked#And this results in people who love being on the most autistic website being SHOCKED when they run into people who show signs of autism#I don't think that's OP BTW I understand they're doing a bit#Long tags

This is entirely false. All the porn stuff is true actually but the undead would not say "of course", they would say "of corpse", even though that expression is rooted in anti-incorporeal people based oppression but liches are always evil and so it's somewhat on brand for them to be dicks about microaggressions baked into their language.
I mean, if you think about it, a dungeon full of weird porn traps is kind of ideal for a D&D lich. Depending on what specific version of the rules we're talking about, their natural immunities encompass paralysis, poison, ability drain, fatigue, all mind-altering effects, and anything that forces a Fortitude/Constitution save, which notably includes nearly all polymorph effects. They could fill a dungeon with goofy TF traps and hypno shit and not even need to remember what they put where because they're not affected by any of it. Awkward if you ever have non-undead guests, of course, but such is the price of convenience!

I like the idea of a Vulcan character who constantly does very reckless things so her human crewmates think she's strange but then she always has a logical explanation she delivers with absolute confidence.
"No, it was perfectly logical for me to jump out of the shuttle at that time. I had a breathing apparatus, and I was certain I could seal the subspace rift by hand before the Romulans opened fire. This was the only solution that would result in zero casualties. I might have died, but giving up is illogical."
She's known as one of the most fearless members of the crew.
