Makoto giggled sweetly and kissed the other sweetly. He was glad that the other didn’t mind him being so sentimental. “I love that you’re sentimental too.” He said looking into the others eyes with a loving look.  Rin was an emotional person and Makoto really loved that about Rin. She was going to be there very soon. He knew they’d be amazing parents. That day would be so perfect just like today had been.

Makoto held the other close. Even with the others words he still felt guilty. He couldn't control the way he was feeling. He took a deep breath when the other left. He took the piece of paper. "Thank you, Rin. I promise that I'll go talk to him today." He said. He really hope that he could fix this and make things right. He couldn't imagine what Sousuke was feeling right now. He stayed with Rin for a while before leaving to find Sousuke. When he approached the address he felt like a dog with his tail between his legs. He felt guilty and so responsible for all of this. He took a deep breath and went to go talk to Sousuke.

Makoto felt his heart sink when he read the message. He didnt want Inoi to have anything to do with his child anyways but Rei saying he was furious with him really hurt.

To:Rei

Message: I do not want him in my child's life anyways. Rei there is a lot that you do not know and cant possibly understand what happened. Please meet me and let me tell you my side of the story.

Makoto rubbed his arm as he took a deep breath and walked over to Rei. He hadn't seen the other in years since they had divorced. He needed to talk to Rei about something and had learned that Rei was living back in their hometown. He had managed to get a hold of Rei and asked if they could see each other over some coffee. He went over to the chair across from Rei's and sat down. "Thank you for meeting me here." He said. "It's... been a while." He said softly. ~totally-not-a-makoto-blog

“Let’s skip the pleasantries. What do you want, Tachibana-san?” Rei didn’t want to be around Makoto right now, not at all. “I only agreed to see you because I thought it might be important.”

Makoto didnt even get groceries that day. He waited until Hiyoshi was in bed before he went to his room and cried. He couldnt believe that Rei was with his attacker and that this man had had it out for him for a while. He knew he had to tell Rei but he was scared that the other wouldn't believe him.

Makoto was at the grocery store with his son Hiyoshi. His breath hitched when they bumped into somebody. "Im so sorry." He said picking up Hiyoshi making sure that his son was okay. "Rei..." He said softly realizing who they bumped into. Then his eyes locked onto Inoi. The other looked just like his son. He felt his skin grow pale as the memories of that night started to come back to him. "I....im so sorry." He said. He held Hiyoshi closer to him and moved to leave the store as quickly as possible. Inoi was the one that had attacked him and he knew he had to be the one threatening him and sending the pictures.

"Sounds like a plan." Makoto said to the other. When the other pulled into a spot. His eyes scanned over the places. There was a small shop tucked into the corner of the rows of shops. Its sign had a cat on it. "Can we go there?" Makoto asked pointing to the small shop that was titled the "Lucky Cat Cafe"

"Im fine." Makoto said with a smile but then his stomach growled. He gave a sheepish smile. "Okay....maybe we should stop somewhere to eat." He said his voice gentle and sweet as always.

"Its no problem at all." Makoto said his cheeks still warm from blushing. He thought he'd be able to handle himself better but he was seeing Rin blush too. Was it possible that maybe he wasnt crazy? Did Rin possibly feel the same way that he did? Makoto desperately wanted to ask but his fear crippled him into staying silent.

Makoto blushed hearing the other speak. He almost didnt know what to say. He felt his heart nervously beat against his chest hoping the other wouldnt be able to hear it or tell. "You're very amazing too." He said. He lost his train of thought when the other asked left or right and quickly shook his head. "I hmm... right." He said.
