cyborg is busy like, trying to train bumblebee into leadership while helping east not fall apart, and speedy’s all indignant as he is in that episode but its like

cyborg has the BROADEST shoulders. and the nicest voice. and the kindest touch, when he’s not whaling on them during training or when they do something stupid. and before speedy knows it speedy’s gone for cyborg and hes like aw damn

the others catch on really quickly because whenever cyborg was mentioned, especially when cyborg was going to visit, speedy would go bright red

he’s the least subtle person in the world 

cyborg is like hardcore bros with bumblebee, though, so he never really. noticed? like he doesn’t think speedy gets flustered, just turns red from frustration or irritation or like, jealousy

cyborg does something Strong Man and speedy goes bright red and cy’s like HAHA you WISH you could be like me and speedy mutters “not exactly” and cyborg says “what” and speedy zooms away like “NOTHING NOTHING”

they play around with pronoun identifiers with hairclips and bracelets and other things, but they find a patch on their uniform works the best because it’s the least intrusive to their daily life 

sometimes they forget it (they tend to like usage of pronouns instead of “no pronoun” days (which are totally valid)) and the titans in the tower are like :)AQUALAD HELP US

speaking of their name they don’t rlly want to change it because it’s like, trademark, but when they’re a nonbinary person or a woman speedy can and will make aquafam and aquagal jokes

what pronouns she feels like using/which gender she is doesn’t conform to societal norms at all so sometimes she’ll be gentler and more feminine and use she/her but sometimes she’ll be an absolute TANK, arm wrestling sharks. she doesn’t change anything about her biological body (at least with anything from the surface) but loves looking and feeling different textiles for different gender expression

melvin is like super sassy to all the teenagers??? all the time??? now that raven’s “in” with her and has like, treated her with respect, melvin won’t sass her as much

timmy is LOUD but he gets along with beast boy and robin, it takes a bit longer for cyborg but like .2 seconds longer. he likes to fly around with raven and when raven got tired of doing this (ALL the time) she stuck him on starfire who finds great joy in this

(raven is still his favorite to fly with though)

raven can get really tired out being with them because its basically babysitting so even though she loves them she will not spend more than a few hours with them at a time

at first though, she was hard pressed to leave them alone because she kept thinking they would get captured. she wouldn’t sleep/slept terribly because of this 

as they grow up the dynamics change and melvin literally HATES meditating at first but she tried it after panicking one night and it helped her a lot so now she and raven sometimes meditate together. not too often, but raven also just. helps her in general control her ability (which WHAT EVEN IS IT.)

teether as a child is HELL because he just eats everything and spits it out like bullets but when he’s a teenager its almost worse because he’ll get frustrated and just take a chunk out of a remote 

timmy learns to regulate his voice and learns different pitches doing different things. they probably went to public school and he definitely broke windows to get out of class

they do put in an effort to have a date date at least once a week, not counting random hangouts at home

Speedy & Aqualad hold their anniversary on a different day each year so that no ones knows what day they actually started dating except for them. They use this as a ‘password’ if they think the other is in someway compromised

everything’s a competition 

they know that nobody else can tell what their anniversary is though and use this to their advantage bc its just embarrassing that their partner won’t agree that They are right, obviously 

so whenever the anniversary lands that year they play dumb when confronted 

speedy does a spy mission and he gets got and on the earpiece to aqualad he’s like man isn’t october thirteenth the best day? the best day to exist? and aqualad over the earpiece is like IT ISNT OCTOBER THIRTEENTH but i’ll be there soon babe 

by pure chance it landed on the exact anniversary for robin and starfire and they were like omg we must have the Better anniversary and robin pretends not to care but he immediately tries to one up them . raven is so over all of them bc it’s disrupting her peace (can they do this somewhere Other than the tower?)

starfire is upset by robin spending less time with her leading up to their anniversary since he’s so caught up in preparation 

everything Does blow up in speedy, aqualad, and robin’s faces 

raven and cyborg are watching a movie together w popcorn in the background but they’re not watching the movie 

starfire flies down and is so sweet that she just wins by default

they also respect each other’s space and are rlly good about figuring when one of em is quiet bc they want to quietly sit with someone or if theyre quiet because they want to be alone

this happens more with raven when she genuinely wants to be alone and cyborg is perfect w leaving her be until she’s ready for Friends/Boyfriend

Headcanon: Beastboy and Cyborg play D&D when they’re bored and sometimes Star plays but doesn’t always understand

yall are boutta find out just how nerdy i really am 

dnd squad: beast boy, cyborg, speedy, aqualad. every so often they’re joined by kid flash, jinx (very seldom but she’s so fun to play with), starfire, and when she’s visiting, kole. 

beast boy was a dm one (1) time and it was absolute utter chaos and nothing got done

cyborg is a hella good dm but will not take your bullshit 

jinx is also a good dm but she’s also a Demonic dm. she can and will let characters die if the players are being dumbasses and running into trouble 

beast boy used to be a druid all the time all the time because of that one way to change into animals as a druid (i think i’ve never played druids) and had really creative ways to get out of trouble 

cyborg likes being paladins, dwarves, and he had a dragonborn character too 

starfire delights in every single character and she always, always chooses some badass warrior. her favorite class is fighter and she lvls up as a dual wielder so she just. cant stop wont stop

beast boy has the weirdest luck like he’ll spend a whole battle with shitty rolls and then immediately afterwards he’s like “ah screw it i want to scream so loud their ears bleed” and he rolls a nat 20 and inflicts d8 sonic damage + a modifier of like, 3 or something, and immediately wounds everyone in a 60 ft radius 12 damage and theyre like . BEAST BOY. 

starfire would like to do many many things please but she has to roll for them and oftentimes they dont make Sense regardless so she’d need a hella good roll. the rare time she gets a nat 20 they all look to cyborg with complete utter hope in their eyes and he’s like ugh ALRIGHT

speedy and aqualad argue in game just as much as they argue irl. whenever cyborg’s playing as a character he smacks them, in game. they receive quite a bit of d4 damage this way. sometimes more if cyborg forgets he has like, brass knuckles on. once after a battle he accidentally knocked speedy and they had to revive him with a potion fhdklfkk

aqualad likes being a cleric but once he got pissed at speedy for constantly gloating his ranger skills and now refuses to heal speedy. the one (1) time he conceded was when speedy was rolling really shitty death saving throws and aqualad was the only character within range to heal him and now he holds it over his head

It’s pride month can I get some spaqua headcanons

normally i go in order of asks being sent but i gotta answer these before pride month ends i gotta

they have a growing tally of who can do the whip cream challenge successfully . bumblebee regrets ever teaching them. currently aqualad is in the lead

for those who dont know: stick some whip cream on the back of your hand. jerk your arm upwards and smack your forearm at the same time so it goes flying and then catch the projectile in your mouth

they went to pride together!! and took lots of photos they were so delighted to be there. speedy had the pride colors smeared on his face like football face paint. aqualad had a whole outfit. they got pins, too, nice enamel ones, and put them literally Everywhere in the tower

if ur family did/does easter eggs, its like when you find an egg mid july or september. these pins just kept popping up 

whenever speedy is super excited about something he’ll just land one on aqualad before bounding over to do/look at whatever he’s excited about. aqualad loves his exuberant side and honestly tries to bring it out as much as possible 

they argue a lot less once they’re together and their “arguments” are really just flirting a Lot. they argue like a married couple and mas y menos and bumblebee just gag

speedy absolutely got rainbow streamers and shot them off with arrows. he got one arrow that exploded into rainbow smoke. most, if not all, of his arrows were pride/rainbow themed thru all the missions in june

aqualad is absolutely delighted by the celebrations of pride month. i dont know much about this iteration of atlantis but my city now so theyre much more accepting of other identities and sexualities so they never had a pride because it was so normalized 

aqualad does bring a similar celebration back though, because he loved it so much and honestly so do the other people of atlantis

Do we send our headcanons in via askbox?? Assuming so. Kyd and Jericho can and WILL fall asleep on each other all the time. That's just how comfortable they are with one another. Neither of them have 100% healthy sleeping habits, so sometimes they'll just fall asleep midday on the couch or leaning on the other's shoulder.

jericho wakes up with the sun Always, even if they fall asleep at like 3am, a fact that he kept from kyd bc he didn’t want him to feel Bad . once kyd found out he did feel bad for ruining jericho’s days with lack of sleep but like, do they do much in a day anyway, no, not really

jericho has a hard time taking naps tho ironically but at night, especially the day after getting a terrible night’s sleep, he’ll be out like a ROCK 

kyd falls asleep super easily when he comfortable. meaning whenever he’s leaning against jericho

people who have muscle mass are usually warmer (??? source: my brother why is he always warm) just on the surface so kyd loves leaning against farmer boy jericho . he’s not actually a farmer boy he’s just built like one 

kyd can and will carry jericho though. sometimes they’ll be on the couch at night and jericho conks out bc it’s nine oclock and he’s tired, so kyd will carry him to his room

jericho is also very clingy while he sleeps. kyd is 100% okay with this and theyre just constantly touching each other all nigh t

kyd doesn’t sleep as well when jericho’s not there because he doesn’t feel as guarded. he never mentions this but jericho knows

since jericho gets up with the sun he hates staying in bed doing nothing but he also knows if he leaves kyd will sleep worse plus he has to extract himself.... it’s a daily struggle

he has to regularly go and wake kyd up because kyd can and will sleep the entire day away. or at least just. stay in bed. 

kyd uses 24123415 blankets that just  s u r r o u n d . nothing super constricting, of course, but they’re like reassurances (if a blanket’s touching your back you dont have to imagine a ghost or person reaching out and touching your back)

jericho is both exasperated and endeared by this. it changes depending on the day

hmmmmmm idk how qualified i am to answer this bc im 17 and have never been pregnant but it’s like being hormonal just multiplied right

she craves bananas thruout but the Moment she gives birth she cant even taste a trace of them for months 

when they told the group cyborg was the happiest. starfire was delighted, of course, but cyborg was absolutely beside himself because he’s always wanted to be an uncle!!! he’s hype!!! and raven’s softly content because she loves cyborg and she loves when he’s happy
