I know it's been a while I updated but...

Adrien was excited about today. He hadn’t been able to come to school for about 2 weeks because his father kept making his schedule stricter. He hardly had enough time to breathe. He was just relieved he could make it for all his patrols with Ladybug. Speaking of Ladybug, they had become very good friends and he didn’t like romantically as much. But that wasn't why Adrien was excited today. He was finally going to school and he couldn’t wait to see Marinette. He knew he hadn’t been a very good friend to Marinette with the ‘high road’. He was honestly regretting that advice. He was going to tell her today how sorry he was and hopefully, they’ll come up with a plan to stop Lila.

So imagine Adrien's shock when he got to school and Marinette was nowhere to be seen. At first, he had assumed that Marinette was late although the few times he'd managed to be in school, she was early in order to avoid any clashes with Lila. But by break time, he had started to get quite anxious about Marinette's absence. At the end of school, he had gathered enough courage to ask Alya about Marinette's whereabouts. He walked up to Alya as she was packing up her items. "Hey Alya" He said quite sheepishly. Alya turned to look at him, instantly breaking out into a smile. "Heyy Sunshine!! It's been a while hasn't it?" She asked, hanging her school bag on her shoulder. Adrien laughed awkwardly. It had been so long since he had spoken to Alya and it was even harder without Marinette here. Besides, he found it quite uncomfortable talking to someone who was actively bullying Marinette. "Yeah! It has, hasn't it?" Adrien quickly cleared his throat before continuing. "Umm Alya, do you happen to know what happened to Marinette? She wasn't in school today"

He watched as Alya's mood quickly began to sour. "She hasn't been in school for a while Adrien, she was expelled from school and disowned by her by her family, and you know what? She deserved it. My only regret is that I didn't pluck out her eyes first! Now please don't mention her name again to me and it's high time you realise your feelings for Lila." She said her eyes cold. Adrien was frozen in shock and a bit hurt too. When did Marinette move? Why didn't she let him know? Is that how bad of a friend he had been? He was so lost in thought he didn't see Alya leave with Lila.

When he eventually snapped out of it, he looked at his watch, quickly realising that it was time for his patrol. He was at least happy that he got to see Ladybug once in a while. He suited up and headed off to their rooftop.

Marinette couldn't believe it!! She can't believe she said that to Robin. ROBIN of all people. She was so lucky she wasn't stabbed to death instantly by his katana. Kwami!! How had she gotten herself into this mess to begin with?!!! All she wanted was groceries for kwami's sake!! "Ohh Tikki! I swear i'll never drink coffee again! No, in fact, I'll sleep everyday just make this a very horrible, vivid nightmare!! Please I'm begging you!!" Marinette groaned, unhappily. Both Her and Tikki knew her addiction to coffee wouldn't ever go away but Marinette was desperate to believe this was a nightmare.

She could hear Trixx cackling every few seconds, laughing at her expense. She really was going to quit coffee and get more sleep. Not. SHe couldn't go to school today because apparently the whole of Gotham city is interested in her attitude towards Gotham's beloved Robin. O how she wished she could go back in time and warn her stupid self but alas she wouldn't abuse the miraculous.

She had been indoors all day and she finally had to transform and teleport to Paris for patrol with Chat Noir. Arriving at their usual rooftop a few minutes later, Ladybug saw Chat Noir waiting for her, whistling a song and looking at the view. Ladybug walked up to him, placing a hand on his shoulder. "Hii Chaton!!" She said with a small smile. Chat Noir blinked in surprise, turning to face her. "Oh. Hello M'lady" He said before releasing a sad sigh. Ladybug frowned, it was quite obvious that her partner was upset. "Chat? What's wrong?" She said, placing a comforting hand on his shoulder.

Chat Noir let out another sad sigh, shoulder slumping. He sat towards the edge of the roof, patting the spot next to him for Ladybug to sit. Ladybug quickly sat beside him and waitied for him to talk. "I don't know if this is compromising my identity but I've hardly been in school, cause my schedule in general is quite busy and so I can only attend school once in a while. Today, I attended for the first time in a while, and I was quite devastated to find out that one of my closest friends had moved. I was actually going to apologise to her that day for not being a supportive friend. I just wish she had considered me more of a friend to tell me at least that she had moved" He finished with a sad smile turning to look at Ladybug, hoping he hadn't rambled too much. Ladybug on the other hand was quite pale. She nearly fell over the edge but Chat Noir quickly grabbed her. "M'lady? What's wrong?"

"A-Adrien?!?"
