ㅤthe quiet rustling of fabric. a pause, before some more can be heard.

ㅤ“I’ll go make us some tea. Decaf, of course.”

ㅤthe clacking of heels against wood, growing fainter —— before quiet sobs can be heard. the footsteps stop.

ㅤ“Do you want to come with, Allister .ᐣ”

ㅤa pause. the sobs seem to end. the sound of footsteps reappears, becoming louder.

ㅤ“Here, take my hand. You’ll have to stay close, alright .ᐣ Now, dear, with you hanging onto my leg like that, I can’t walk anywhere. Like this, see .ᐣ”

ㅤshuffling can be heard alongside heels. it grows quieter, and quieter, until it fades away.

swearing hcs for my muses. because it's kinda funny and weirdly important to writing their dialog

n: not much of a swearer. didn't even know most curse words before meeting hilbert & co bc ghetsis didnt want plasma's king using those words & none of the sages really use that kind of language. might say damn but won't go further than that

ghetsis: he thinks swearing is an indicator of unintelligence so he's usually not gonna do it. he'll mostly stick to his borderline archaic insults. but you can rile him up every once in awhile to get a "damn you" or "damn it all" or something to that effect. and i think once he's really gone off the deep end around bw2 he becomes considerably more vulgar

colress: i think ive made it clear at this point that if you piss him off he's gonna hurl every swear he can think of at you

bn: NOTABLY more vulgar than regular n but still has some restraint and it's not super frequent

penny: see i think penny would be super adverse to swearing but god it would be so funny if this literal sweetheart accidentally got influenced by colress's vocabulary. im leaning towards the former though because as soon as penny parrots colress i think col would freak out and tell him to never repeat it because it'd make ghetsis mad as hell

alder: mostly keeps from swearing just because he's usually around his kids (or kids he tutors) but in privacy he's not adverse to it. it's usually light & sparse though. usually

paulo: unironically says heck and darn. he can't swear. he won't do it.

ingo: you have to be actively about to hit this man with a car before he utters a single bad word and even then he'll feel really bad about it and ask that you never mention it

linoone: it's not in every sentence linoone says but man this kid can say some stuff sometimes

i think its silly that ingo and emmet have both, unprompted, called attention to who's older/younger in their dialog. they're literally twins. you'd think it wouldn't matter (outside of normal sibling "IM OLDER YOU HAVE TO LISTEN TO ME" type banter) when it's an age difference of literal minutes . but canonically emmet looks up to ingo a lot and usually wants to follow his lead and i think he expresses this by acknowledging ingo's the older one

meanwhile ingo is protective of emmet and will routinely take on the role and responsibilities of an older brother even if again. theyre virtually the same age

i am so absolutely utterly scared that my insane grandfather in his 80s who runs miles every morning is going to leave me a bird in his will and i am especially scared he is going to leave me a large cockatoo named "captain hook". hook has been trying to make me his child bride since i was like 6 years old and every time i see him again which has only been a couple times with decades in between hook is like "you. it's always been you. ever since you were born i've known we were meant to be" captain hook you are a bird and i am a LESBIAN and i don't WANT an eternal sentinel captain HOOK!!!!!!!
