I wanted to do something for the secondary theme Tanabata with the star-crossed lovers thing, but it ended up into something like this.

“Hmm..you’re right, I don’t know much about classical music at all...even less so if it’s Mazoku’s...Still! That’s the most beautiful sight-- I mean.. sound I heard since I came to this world! I think you can be more confident in your skill there!”

“I guess... Now it’s your turn. Play or sing your favorite song.”

“My favorite song..huh?” “And it cannot be your favorite sport team’s anthem..”

“That’s gonna be hard… but.. Since you showed me such beautiful sound..let me think of something impressive as well…..”

“Mhmm..” “Hmm…………..”

“Well?”

“It’s too hard! It’s really hard! Even though I can think of some parts of World’s--I mean Earth’s famous pieces, I don’t know how to play any of the instruments here and make it sound beautiful.”

“How about you just hum it then?”

“That’s no good...Ah! I know! Since I will go back to earth tomorrow, when I come back here, I will bring my music player too! That way I will have time to choose and bring you.. the most beautiful sound from earth!!”

“Hmph! You’d better not disappear for too long and... just forget that promise if it would take your time from your family and stuff.”

“Eh?! Why??”

“Because...I’ve heard it already.”

“Ehh?? How??”

“...I’m not telling you.”

Wolf thinks it’s Yuuri’s voice.

After that, Yuuri brought the music player back anyway. (Fully charged in waterproof bag maybe? and baseball team’s anthems included xD)   He just thought Wolf said that because he didn’t want to waste his time, but he knew a major art appreciator like Wolf would be interested in the other world’s music.

What kind of songs he brought back is up to your imagination xD

Though, poor Yuuri looks a bit short of decoration..

Let’s say he probably thinks it’s uncomfortable to dance wearing the crown and the long cape so he just casually left them at his seat. Wolf would probably call him henachoko but secretly think that it’s so Yuuri-like and he doesn’t mind. No matter what he wears, he’s still the man he loves after all ;)

It’s Yuuri and Wolf dancing (it’s a theme I want to do forever. There are so many beautiful dancing poses and I wish I could do it better! xD)

I never thought, before I put the frame on it, that it would look somewhat like a wedding invitation card but it’s June afterall~

What does this mean?

Bad news: The manga will finish next month for the time being… because it’s MISLEADING, which leads us to the good news

Good news: it is very VERY likely, that the novel will continue. (or at least this is my interpretation of her cryptic messages)

1) She says the manga is misleading, (because the story was changed.)

2) She says she ‘wants to do something related to the series’. 

3) She asks that you continue to support her (in relation to the series)

My conclusion: The novels are coming up!

Will the series be ending in the novels? Yeah, maybe but oh my god! It’s going to be a proper ending FINALLY!

So in other words:  -The anime fucked up and had some weird ending. -The manga now has officially recognized they fucked up and it’s gonna have a weird ending.

BUT HEY! Something related to maruma (and it’s not the maomyu cuz that was announced BEFORE this), is coming up… something that’s not misleading… well I wonder what that could be.

A brief guide to post to the magazine:

It’s important to use really basic english, nothing more than: hello, I love (japanese name of the series or characters), or stuff like that. They will not read comments in other languages besides japanese, even if it’s what you consider basic english.

If you need some help to write a comment in japanese please check Love Love KKM page to find some lines you can copy-paste. You can also drop a message to the translator on facebook if you have a question, but I don’t promise anything because they’re busy sometimes.

You can post drawings or messages about the series to ASUKA twitter whenever you want, but it’s also very important we response to their tweets about kkm manga on time. This will help them to know this series is popular and make them keep releasing new chapters.

Try to make your account “credible”, put a little effort and upload an avatar, retweet some cute pics of kkm you find here and there. You don’t need to actually use you account but you also don’t want to look like a bot.

About this post, (Sorry, I can’t seem to find a way to reply without reblogging the whole thing and make it super long, so it ended up like this??) @redglassesgirl-maruma I was thinking the one Wolf was following around was Conrad since Wolf seemed quite attached to him (e.g. crying when he can’t find him during hide-and-seek in Apollo 0.1) before the conflicts about Conrad’s parents and stuff. Though, the perpetually-weak-to-cute-stuff Gwen might actually suit the role of wolf babysitter than the young hot-blooded Conrad, or maybe not, since he might spoil him rotten xD (It’s the same for me, I can see how serious-mode Gwen can deny grown-up Wolf, but I just can’t imagine Gwen denying little Wolf asking for more sweets xD)

@marumafan I agree with what you said and I think Wolf is a person who will work what he can for what he want instead of praying for it too! and since he did not hesitate to use provocative words about church to lure Ulrike out (when he thought it’s her mistake that Yuuri was sent to wrong place), I think he actually has quite skeptical and practical mind (from his experiences) despite his fiery nature. Speaking of compassion, this is another reason why I love him so much, he became more mature (compared to the first time you see him), but he never lose the passion and it grew into something more. That’s a fine development of character you got there..

June: Yuuram/Wolfyuu month

This is a drabble based on the bed scene in Novel 14 Chapter 7 with references to Novel 9 Chapter 5 and something (I think) Anissina said in Seisa arc’s Drama CD.

I took liberty of assuming Wolf’s background a little bit. I hope it’s not too contradictory with canon.

The idea came from maruma livechat drawing on the topic of that scene. The revised version of my sketch is included here.

Lord von Bielefeld doesn’t like praying as much as he doesn’t like crying.

He used to cry a lot when he was a little child following his little big brother,

but he learned it the hard way that sometimes no matter how much he cries, it wouldn’t get him what he wanted. That guy is mean like that.

So, he stopped crying, at least for that reason.

The same goes for praying.

He noticed he saw his fiance cries often.

To be exact, it was the person himself that noticed it first.

It made him wonder if it is just in front of him that he cries, or he is just a crybaby in general.

He was more likely to believe it’s the latter.

Nevertheless, a king must learn how to deal with his own emotions.

That’s why he told himself,

if his king cries tonight, he would keep his cool and let him vent out his frustration as usual.

That’s why he told himself,

if that laugh turns into a sob, he would pretend to be asleep.

He would,

And he probably should.

Yet, if he really is a man whose plans always backfire, like someone used to say,

He might as well do it the easy way.

He thought to himself while reaching out to the person beside him with those words still lingered in his ears.

Gotta admit I delayed the deed because I had to make a twitter account (and I'm just being a procrastinator by nature..yes, I know it’s a bad habit D: ), but I finally did it (on their latest post about maruma). Here are my two cents on the issue (since I’m mostly detached from Japanese fandoms, my Japanese fandom netiquette is also limited. I had to ask a friend who is more familiar with it what we should do in a situation like this.)

- I'm not too sure if we should ‘spam’ it, like, posting the exactly same messages. If we don’t know how to write in Japanese, maybe we can post with our own words in simple english? (since the objective is to let them know there are oversea fans over here, I think it’s ok if it’s simple english?) Although the lore that some japanese people don’t like comments in foreign languages on their twitters also makes me unsure about this..

- If you have to make a new twitter, it’d be nice if you personalize it to show that you are not just a bot or a spam but a fan that counts.

- If we are going to do this, let’s do it in consistency. Not just that post, but let’s keep twitter as a direct channel where we can communicate to the publisher that we love the series. (I think if we can reply corresponding to the contents of the posts, it would be best, but unfortunately, my understanding of the posts is as limited as google translate capacity :< )  - Lastly, if there are character and pairing fight somewhere I don’t know (Could it be possible that we are not in the same circle? it’s probably because of this that some fans don’t know about this campaign?), I hope it is done positively and creatively. We are small (judging from the active people I can see) but let’s make it a fandom that everyone can enjoy ^^

Maruma unity - What would Yuuri do?

Look, here’s the deal… when we get a reboot of the anime, when we get monthly new manga chapters (without those 6 months hiatuses), when we get new drama cds (last one’s from 2013), when we get a new novel, FINE!

Let’s have our petty pairing/character fights then.

Let’s sit on our butts then.

But for now, we have to remember the old adage: ‘strength is in the numbers’. 

You can avoid liking/looking at posts of pairings/characters you dislike, but if we’re talking about something that would benefit every fan of the series, how can you ignore it?

In this case, I’m talking about this post in particular, a simple plan to let Kadokawa’s manga magazine know that this series has fans abroad. FREE OF CHARGE. It takes 5 seconds to copy/paste that message. Maybe 3 or 4 minutes if you don’t have a twitter account and need to make one.

People’s points of view may differ, but can we all agree that we want this series to continue? 

We already have the language barrier that separates us from Japanese, Chinese and Korean fans…. can we, the English speaking fandom, find some some common ground to work together?

And to our dear lurkers… why lurk, when you can be drawing and writing and being active?

The sketches I did in Maruma livechat last Saturday

Although I spent most of the time reading the chat, it’s fun to hear those cute and mindblowing topics! (I think I joined around 8 PM my time and went to sleep at 1AM..that was like..5 hours?? xD ) Seriously, you girls are awesome! ^^ @redglassesgirl-maruma @marumafan @buzzbug82 @shion801love @theukelover @epiphyllum1902 (and I think there are a few more people who I can’t find their tumblrs, if you see this, lemme know it’s youu D:)

1st Prompt: Novel 14 After the famous bed scene / Time skip in Manga chapter 115

It’s a topic that I ponder on a lot (more than I should be xD ) but when a question about headcanon on what happened after the scene was asked, I just couldn’t get more creative!  I fixed Yuuri’s expression a bit from the live chat version, but it’s not quite final. I have a drabble idea which probably could go with this one, so I think I will post the revised version again along with the drabble later. 

2nd Prompt: Magical Girl Wolfram / Wolfram in Shorts I love Wolf in frilly dresses but I don’t want to pass on Wolf in shorts either, so the only conclusion is to combine both. It results in Cardcaptor! Wolfram xD

“So..I heard you like this kind of things..The sage said I should hit you with this staff and we should agree on a ‘saaafe word’ before start..what do you think about ‘nogisu’ then?, if you yell ‘nogisu!’ passionately, I will stop the action.” Yuuri probably thinks if his friend was going to help him give his lover a clue about his too-embarrassing-to-tell-anyone personal preferences, he should at least do it right... Well, at least, both dominatrixes and magical girls have two things in common--powers and magic sticks. I think I left the chat a bit earlier, so here is the bonus. We noticed that all the sketches we did for topic#1 can be seen as sequences. I suspected that it’s because *ahem* even though we’re apart, our hearts are still together (in Yuuram hell xD)

It’s probably the morning after that timeskip in manga chapter 115. The wise sage will be kind and pretend not to see any marks on anyone. (He will keep it for later when the greater opportunities come.)

3rd Week: Couple’s day It’s a sequel to  [But it’s a little bit lonely to sit alone in here, you know.] So..I was going to draw Wolf sitting on Yuuri’s lap as @redglassesgirl-maruma and @marumafan suggested. Somehow, it turned into this..^ ^;;

Small references to the arrow scene and that famous scene that introduced me to Yuuram.

I enjoy doing this fanart + drabble format a lot :D

I love what you did with how Yuuri explained about being gays in our society, be it Japanese or Asian in general. The mazoku and human comparison gave me a chill. 

Since you said it’s post novel 17, now I want to know which part came from there!

and the ending..xD I just love when Yuuri expected Wolf would act first but he didn’t. He will learn that sometimes you just gotta start it yourself ;D

and don’t say you’re not working for the fandom! you inspired a lot of discussions and made it lively. We all know you’re maruma biggest fan! x)

3rd Week: Couple’s day Secondary prompt: Mother’s day.

[But it’s a little bit lonely to sit alone in here, you know.]

Long time ago, his mother called for him to sit with her on the place that was meant for the only one person in the kingdom.

“But isn’t that place only for the Maou?”

He hesitated. Even though he was only a child, he knew that it would be inappropriate.

“But it’s a little bit lonely to sit alone in here, you know” His mother made a cute pout, but her argument did not make sense to him.

Still, he could not reject her words and the sorrow in her eyes.

Finally, the child decided to make a compromise. 

Even though he did not have the right to sit on the throne, he would at least have the right to sit in his mother’s lap.

Some time later, when her successor came, and also became his fiance, 

he noticed the familiar sorrow in his eyes, so he made an offer--

with the same logic.

Yuuri’s fingers got injured because he helped sewing the carp streamer in the previous pic

It’s just a little story I thought about when I drew it xD

Now that I consider again, can a bad sewing skill even give that much injury? maybe Yuuri was just really clumsy (if that is the case I can see Gwen said he’d do all the sewing and tell Yuuri to do other things. So, Yuuri, being Yuuri, would go help Conrad with the woodworking and ended up injured (again) and helped a little bit of everything. Then, he came to Wolf and that comic happened) or.. it could be the other reasons, I’ll leave it open here ;3

(True reason is I just love when Wolf is oblivious and Yuuri is somewhat self-conscious about the way they interact xD)
