German twitter is going crazy today after the feminist magazine "EMMA" published an article on politician Markus Ganserer. He's a trans Green Party member of the German parliament, going by the name Tessa.

He got into this position thanks to the gender quota - or "Frauenquotenplatz" (literally: female quota seat) - effectively taking that opportunity from another female party member. Ganserer has made no efforts in transitioning. He's had no surgeries or made any legal changes. Physically and legally he is considered a man.

Germany does not have self ID laws. You can only change your sex legally according to the Transsexuellengesetz (TSG), which is a lengthy process involving medical examinations, therapy, etc. Ganserer explicitly does not want to do any of that. He instead argues that "a penis is not per se a male sex organ".

Additionally, a proposed self ID law was rejected by the old German parliament just last summer. The Green Party now simply acts as if their self ID law was already implemented. Which is of course illegal. (On top of stealing a woman's place he also had his male name on the ballot, since ya know, he's not legally considered a woman. But was on the women's list anyway.)

The EMMA article goes on to introduce an initiative called "Geschlecht zählt" (sex counts), which was created by feminists and allies to combat this injustice and the dangers of a self ID law which is based on feelings instead of biological reality.

Meanwhile the new German government has already announced that they plan on introducing a self ID law anyways. (Two of the three parties in the coalition were part of the original proposal.)

The amount of hate that gets directed at teenage girls boils my blood, especially since teenage boys are out there being demons and given a pass to do so.

I remember seeing this reddit post by some asshole barista dude who was in his twenties or maybe even early thirties who would intentionally fuck up teen girls’ cups so they wouldn’t be able to take pictures of them for their Instagrams and Snapchats. Everyone in the thread thought he was awesome for sticking it to these girls who didn’t do anything wrong.

I watched a tik tok where this woman investigated the old crusty men who follow little girls on Instagram and surprise surprise, many of those men had “DDLG” in their bio while following hundreds of girls under the age of 10- many of which are gymnastics or dance accounts because they show the girls in leotards or dress them up sexy.

So yes actually, DDLG IS deeply connected to pedophilia because it both attracts, welcomes, and normalized pedophiles, no matter what kink activists tell you.

I absolutely detest this new trend of calling everything fruity. It’s identical to the  2000′s/early 2010′s where certain mannerisms, speech patterns etc were deemed gay in a derogatory sense, only now it’s somehow ok because it’s… Being perpetrated by straight people with pronouns? Because it’s ironic? I legitimately cannot wait for this to die, but I’m never going to forget how readily an entire generation of internet users picked up a new homophobic slur.
