Outwardly anyone would think they’d be like chalk and cheese but Nfy carries his own insecurities he let go with Chris and a torch he’s have to carry for a while 🥲 but he’d rather have Chris in his life than lose him (again)

For quite some time, NFY’s feelings for Chris were one-sided because, no matter how much Chris loved and cared about NFY, the only close person he had since the orphanage, and how overprotective and obsessed with NFY Chris became, to him, it remained platonic for years. Chris is demisexual and demiromantic, but even after his demi awakening when he discovered himself being pathetically in love, they remained stuck in mutual pining for ages, both as oblivious as it gets + Chris is a pathological overthinker who believes that he can’t be loved.

So far, we have mostly been developing Burdie’s endless mutual pining stage. But it doesn’t mean we’ve never thought about them in the future when they become a couple.
