- ̗̀ i've missed your calls for months it seems, don't realize how mean i can be. 'cause i can sometimes treat the people that i love like jewelry. 'cause i can change my mind each day. i didn't mean to try you on. but i still know your birthday and your mother's favorite song.

JORDYN.
she knew he would be supportive of her decision. pulling open the bathroom door, she completely ignored that bryan and the girl were still in the living room. “i’ll try my hardest not to.” she joked. a few moments later, jordyn arrived back at their home.
jaiden walked around the couch and sat back down to talk to bryan and davina. he needed to know what had happened and what they were gonna do next. “who all knows that she’s here?” jaiden wondered. “the guys and your dad. no one seen us.” bryan promised. “it doesn’t matter. if her dad gets a tip that shes here, your ass is grass. he’ll burn the place to the ground, bryan. you don’t know who you just started a fight with.” his eyes shifted to davina. “i don’t know what you and he have,” jai pointed to bryan, “but if my family gets hurt because of you, i’ll kill you myself. that’s a promise. so you better make sure nothing gets out.”

JORDYN.
“i’m sorry.” she muttered. the girl knew by being apart of this would only cause her to be in more danger than she already was. a smile tugged on her lip, watching as the male pulled out his keys. “you’re letting me drive your baby.” she joked taking the keys from him. jordyn kissed him once more, before they left the room. “i love you.”
“it’s okay. i don’t want you doing something you don’t wanna do.” jaiden really didn’t. plus this put a huge target on her and that was something he never wanted. jaiden smiled to himself and followed her out of the bathroom. “please, jordyn, don’t not scratch her. if there’s anything on my car when i get home, please know i’ll have those divorce papers signed faster than you can blink your eyes.” he smirked and winked at her. “i love you too. be careful.” he walked to the door with her.

“ i never said you were incapable of doing your job, jaiden.” she lowered her voice, so they couldn’t hear them talking. she couldn’t help but be protective of him sometimes. the girl shook her head in a no motion. “i’m sorry, i can’t.”
“that’s okay,” jaiden nodded his head. she didn’t have to be apart of this if she didn’t want to. digging in his pocket, jaiden pulled out his keys and held them out for her. “i’ll call you when i’m done here and you can come pick me up. or i’ll have one of the guys bring me by the house.” he assured her.

“what shit jaiden? me being a worried wife.” she questioned him. nodding when he told her he was going to be okay, her lips latched onto his letting their kiss linger for a few moments before he pulled away.
“acting like i’m not capable of doing anything. i know how to do my job. i don’t need you to protect me.” he reminded her. that’s not what she was here for. jaiden was the one who was suppose to protect her. and he always did. jaiden licked over his lips and slipped his hands in his pockets. “so are you in or are you out?”

amber hues gazing at the floor, before she picked her head up to look at him. the blonde knew he would do anything in his power to keep her from harms way. “i can’t have you getting hurt again.” she spoke softly while she rested her forehead onto his. “i can have my dad send someone to pick me up.”
jaiden shook his head lightly, “don’t start with that shit. i’m fine.” he spoke, reaching up to grab her cheeks in his hands. “nothing is going to happen to me.” jaiden pressed a firm kiss to her lips before pulling away.

JORDYN.
letting the door slam behind her, she heard the two men fighting as she left the room. the girl leaned against the sink, with her head in hands. taking in a deep breath, she sighed hearing the door creek open. jordyn knew her husband wouldn’t let anything happen to her. “i’m already here jaiden, we’re already apart of it.”
jaiden closed the door behind him, “no, i’m already here, i’m already apart of it. you don’t have to be.” jaiden promised her. “all you have to do is say the words and i’ll make sure you’re never brought up in this.” he’d go to the ends of the world to protect her and care for her. if that’s what she wanted. all she had to do was say so. jaiden crossed his arms and raised a brow. “you’re safe no matter what you choose to do. nothing will happen to you.”

JORDYN.
for as long as jordyn could remember her dad’s gang and davina’s dad, where rivals. and she knew once bryan kidnapped her, they would all be in danger. especially her. “are you fucking stupid, bryan.” she spat. pushing herself up off the couch, she walked her way into the bathroom, to calm herself down.
this put a huge target on their back. although with jordyn’s father and jaiden’s father teamed up, they are overly powerful, there was no telling what length leo would go to for his daughter. it just might put jordyn in danger. jaiden wasn’t okay with that. jaiden watched as jordyn rose from the couch, “why didn’t you come to me first? i didn’t tell you to do this. you’re an idiot.” he stood up, “all it takes is for her to get out and them lead it back to us. you’re starting a war and i be damned if i let you drag my wife into it.” jaiden spoke as he made his way around the couch to follow where jordyn had gone. pushing the door open a bit, he peeked his head inside and moved into the bathroom. “you don’t have to do this. you don’t have to be a part of this, j.”

the girl rested back into the couch, with her free hand she intertwined their fingers together. looking over at jaiden, she gave him a soft smile. amber hues gazing back over to the brunette and bryan, “nice to meet you.” she replied. the brunette swallowed and responded to jaiden. “new york, but my parents are from here. their names are leo and selena alvarez.”
as soon as she told him who her parents were, it clicked in jaidens head. he knew exactly who she was. jaiden’s eyes shifted to bryan, “you kidnapped leo’s daughter? where the fuck did you even get her from?” bryan shook his head, “it was a necessary move. that’s not even the point though. that’s not why you’re here.” “you kidnap alvarez’ daughter then you start to catch feelings for her? you’re a dumbass. you couldn’t find a girl, i don’t know, maybe one you didn’t kidnap?” jaiden tossed his hands up.

JORDYN.
“it’s like we’re initiating her, or at least i am.” she joked but was serious at the same time. her husband liked to think he was the hardest one to approach, but jordyn on the other hand was; after all she was the only girl and could make it extremely intimidating. her hand laced with his, taking a seat beside’s him.
jaiden let out a low laugh and he glanced at the girl. “i guess so.” he shrugged his shoulders. once she was seated next to him, his arm wrapped around her shoulder. bryan raised his brow a bit and let out a nervous breath, “davina, this is jaiden and jordyn.” he motioned to the couple. jaiden caught the girls eyes and nodded his head. “where do you come from?” jai questioned, wanting to know more about the brunette. “who’s your parents?”

JORDYN.
the next day had came around, and jordyn was finishing up getting ready to meet one of bryan’s friends. arriving at the house a few moments later, she was greeted by bryan, chaz and ryder ( which she had called her brothers ) she was still cautious on how jaiden was feeling. “you sure you’re up to this?” she questioned him as they entered the home. amber hues wandered towards bryan and the girl that was seated next to him. “hi.” she spoke.
“i’m not up to this at all, but i still have to see who they’re keeping here.” jaiden replied. he didn’t want his wife hanging out with this stranger. they didn’t know who she was or what she could be up too. out of all the guys, jaiden was the scariest to approach. jaiden and ryder. jaiden’s stare was hard on the girl as he took a seat. his hand reached out for jordyns so she could take a seat beside him.

JORDYN.
her arms rested around the back of jaiden’s chair that he sat in, she had been in this business since she turned sixteen and her father made her heir of his. the blonde knew her husband wouldn’t let her go off with some stranger alone. “her name is davina.” bryan replied. jordyn listened as the two men continued to have the conversation. “i’ll see what i can do.” she spoke.
the next day, the couple went over to the guys home because bryan had asked them too. jaiden wasn’t going to let jordyn spend time alone with the girl until he knew the girl. he didn’t trust anybody. his wound felt a lot better and he wasn’t in as much pain as he was in the beginning. he could move around a lot better now. jaiden walked into their home with jordyn following behind him. walking into the living area, bryan sat on a couch with a girl who looked familiar beside him. chaz and ryder sitting on opposite couches. “hey,” jaiden muttered and most the take a seat.

sighing as she heard that they still haven’t caught the guy who shot her husband, her hands brushed against his his neck in reassurance they would find him. she had no idea what bryan needed her help with. “i’ve been seeing this girl and she found out i’m in a gang. so i need jordyn to hang out with her.” the male replied to jaiden. “so i have to babysit her?” she questioned.
jaiden’s eyebrows raised whenever he told them what he needed from her. “who’s this girl?” jaiden wondered. he wouldn’t let his wife go hangout with someone that they didn’t really know. he didn’t want jordyn in danger. “not really babysit, just hang out. talk to her and show her that she doesn’t have to be scared of the gang or the business we’re in,” bryan spoke to jordyn.
