Hello friends,

We know it has been awhile, so thanks for your patience. There were many battles fought against Adobe and sadly those are battles lost. We lost access to Adobe Premier-- and in a moment of desperation, edited the zine on Google Docs. It won't be as pretty as last time, but we hope you enjoy it anyway.

Dipper and Mabel move to Gravity Falls once it becomes clear that their parents don’t know how to raise a demonic son. This time, however, their parents come with them, and the Pines family is able to grow closer as a result.

Here’s my submission for the 2020 @transcendence-zine! Featuring: the Love Is Enough AU that I kept talking about months ago! ^_^

“Mabel, Henry, and the kids (no, teens now, they grew up so fast) were at some state park, leaving Dipper alone for the day, and he hadn’t had any summons in the past few hours. It was quiet, almost suspiciously quiet, but he wasn’t complaining. He had the whole day to do whatever he wished. And right now, his brain was running through the craziest, dumbest spur-of-the-moment plans imaginable.”

Or, the saga of Dipper’s verified Quacker account. Because he has that. For some reason.

HA! The zine has been published (thank u to everyone involved it is so great and I’m looking forward to the next one) so it is time to post my pieces! Here’s ½, feat. possessed!mabel.

I just want to say, Im almost done with the fic for Volume2 of the zine, Im so happy it looks like Im not too late to enter it, I have worked really hard & long on it. I just got some questions, I have never entered a zine a before, & I went all out for it, so its pretty long, do zines (or at least this zine) have length limits or something? Also, again, this is my 1st zine, but I want to have someone look at & beta my fic B4 I turn it in, is that okay w/zine fics? Excited to read ED1 & for ED2.

1. Definitely not too late to participate!  2. Beta reading is totally ok-- but we recommend you ask another zine participant to be your beta  3. There are word limits, we’re thinking around 1,500 words for ED2. If your fic is longer than that, then you may want to look into including a snippet or shortening it. Please wait for the official announcement on this when we start ED2.

The zine has arrived!!!! Unfortunately, we’ve had too many issues with Blurb’s formatting requirements to justify waiting any longer to publish the zine. So please enjoy the PDF download! We look forward to starting edition 2 soon! -The Zine Team

A quick update

Hey guys! We wanted to announce that for the next zine we will be joined by Eka @eyesovertheforest, Grem @marshmellowextract, and Rey @gawain-in-green for editing and management. The first volume will be out soon and we're super excited to share it with you!

Im a little confused. So b4 the theme winner was chosen already getting previews of stuff for this zine. Was that a another thing for this zine but not for Demonology and the Occult! Edition2? Maybe Edition1 of this zine? Or was ED1 of this zine for the Transcendence AU Zine last year or something, & that was ED1 of it? Just curious about the ED1 & 2 thing. Also, was so hoping Angels & Demons would win, I love that stuff. Demonology & the Occult is cool too. When is the deadline for entering? =)

Ok so:

ED 1 did not have a theme. We decided that we’d rather everyone write or draw about what interested them since it was our first zine and I was kind of a stickler that we celebrate and document what TAU looked like in the year 2020.

ED 2 has the theme Demonology and the occult. It is not yet in production as ED 1 was not completed in the time frame we wanted due to unforeseen circumstances. We apologize for any confusion as the announcement overlapped with ED 1 not being ready.

At this moment we do not have a timeline for ED 2 and will not release one until we have ED 1 is ready for purchase. I do encourage you to think about what you might like to submit for ED 2 though. While Angels and Demons was not our winner; I think this theme allows for some exploration of similar content.

Introducing the winner of edition 2 with a 41% vote! Demonology and the Occult!  This edition will feature the darker arts of TAU: tales of demonologists, handbooks for summoning, spell books, descriptions of demons, and more. Join us in creating a tome of arcane knowledge!
