To be honest, I am never really a fan of portrayals of Mickey as an actor where he is this out of touch celebrity who let his fame get to his head to where and can't really connect with the "common" folk anymore or even at all.

I get why people tend to do it and where it comes from. But it always felt wrong to me. Maybe I just like the character too much idk.

I kinda love how, even when Donald’s wish was supposed to make the family a normal family that goes on normal adventures, they just…weren’t. Della’s still a traumatized amputee that got stuck on the moon for 10 years. Beakley’s still a spy, Scrooge is still the Richest Duck in the World, Webby is even more crazy and violent if anything, the triplets and Launchpad are literally just themselves in new outfits and with a touch of stir-crazy, and it’s clear from how they’re all talking that they at least go on their usual adventures off-screen(the bear picture comes to mind). Because Donald doesn’t want a normal family with normal problems, not really, not at the expense of them being themselves. He just wanted a break and it got out of hand and his stubbornness set in.

AITA for not telling my nephew we know he’s queer?

I 130s (m) have a 17 (m) nephew. Lately he’s been sneaking around and keeps almost starting to come out and then backing out or getting interrupted by his sister 17 (f). It’s exhausting and I think we should just tell him we know but I’m not sure that’s the best course of action? I worry it might come off wrong. the worst part is his grades have been slipping and if he’s sneaking around with a boyfriend that might be what was causing it? I don’t care if he has a boyfriend I just want him to succeed.

So, I mentioned to @modmad a while ago that Gladstone was in Donalds Birthday parade!!! He was hidden at the back of the very last float /with Ludwig Von Drake/

At the front of the same float was Grandma duck aswell? If I remember right they where both altered Donald costumes (like they did with Daisy) and where made specifically for his 50th Birthday Parade, and made no other apperances
