Upon turning 24, I thought that it was an appropriate time for a new tattoo. I had always liked Marc Johns drawings, and this one caught my eye, but despite it being a potentially awesome tattoo, it was also completely inappropriate.

The more I thought about how ridiculous it would be to get a bird on a skateboard tattooed, the more I realised that that very fact meant that I definitely had to get it done.

Don’t take life too seriously. 

This was tattooed by my lovely friend Laura Kennedy of Timeless Tattoos in Glasgow, Scotland. I like how she even got the wheels a little bit pink, and gave the beast an underbite to show up his attitude.

Slanders and nonsense.

Stress steady sliding towards me.

Brain is not there, so far gone.

Eyes are just seeing illusions.

Thoughts scattered, confusion.

Where is myself?

Where am I at?

Because all else is failing.

Because all I’m doing is dwelling.
