It's with a heavy but hopeful heart that I watch Palestinian families fundraiser on here, slowly accumulating the precious little money to go around that they need to survive. However, not everyone is so lucky. A lot of Palestinians that have not had that kind of luck, that did not get early verification, that did not get massive platforms behind them from large bloggers, have approached me in my inbox, asking me kindly to do what I can for them. It kills me that I have so little to give myself, but I've seen this platform collectively raise enough to change someone's life. I've made a list of Palestinian fundraisers that are extremely low on funds, in the hope that drawing attention to people who have not been lucky at all can help turn that luck around. I know most of us can't possibly give enough to get all of these families safe in one go. But please, reblog this list. Pick one or two fundraisers, give what you can, and then keep track of it. Slowly, collectively, we can make a difference in these people's lives. Recently there has been a fall in engagement with Palestinian content on tumblr, and for those of us who are helping Palestinians fundraise it is very obvious that this has happened directly after the very public smear campaigns, carried out by some racist users with significant followings.

It seems half the site somehow found it easier to believe in the horseshit about “belgian scam rings” and “russian botnets” in an effort to justify their apathy towards genocide victims, and the other half seems to think that everything is over and that the evil was defeated just because some racist bloggers got run off the site after giving half-hearted apologies that did nothing to mitigate the damage they had done.

THERE ARE PEOPLE STILL IN DIRE NEED OF HELP !! There are people who are still getting death threats from zionists every day and have to stay on this godforsaken website because their gofundmes haven't reached their endgoals yet...

I'm going to keep this brief:

Siraj's ( @siraj2024 ) family including his parents, and his five siblings and their families were displaced during the recent attacks by IOF on deir al balah

This means there are now 23 family members that Siraj is the sole provider for at the moment. 

10 of those members are young children.

Siraj's wife, Halima, is having a terrible flareup of eczema and his children are suffering from skin infections and badly need medical attention.

This whole family has been living in unhygienic conditions in 2 tents, packed like sardines during this heatwave, leading to spread of infections between them as well– all during a time where hygiene products have become unaffordable due to the israeli blockade, and when water has become scarce, and kids cant even receive life saving vaccinations during polio epidemic.

All this while everyday siraj risks his life trying to reach out to us from an internet point amidst violence and shelling from the IOF in what once was a “humanitarian safe zone”, even more desperately than before because–

URGENT: please help nesma ahmed and her family!

no human being on earth should ever have to feel this way. it's heartbreaking that most of the world seems content in moving on from the ongoing genocide while people like @nesmamomen are left to despair and lose hope that they can ever resume normal lives.

nesma needs $150,000 USD to evacuate her family. she's made a lot of progress, but when i look at the list of donations she's received, i don't see enough. she still needs approximately $40,000 to meet her goal, and i'd really like to see everyone pull together to help her. she's already lost several members of her family, but we can all chip in and pay our dues to minimize her chances of losing more.

i think the trailer for the third film might have finally converted me into a sonic movie hater. Small rant and spoilers below the cut.

So no Amy? No Rouge? We got two shots, one of Maria and one of Maddie, each lasting a split second... and that's it for the women? Really? I don't think this film is gonna pass a single female representation test.

Team Sonic now works for with fucking govt? Are you KIDDING? Even on a casual basis, that's antithetical to everything Sonic is.

Shadow's soooo powerful that they just throw in the towel and ally with Eggman? Sonic Adventure 2, the game this film is supposed to be based on, establishes pretty fucking clearly that Sonic and Shadow are evenly matched, with Sonic perhaps being marginally stronger, judging by Shadow's dialogue during the Finalhazard fight. So, what the fuck.

Why does Shadow have a motorbike.

Where is the ARK. Is Shadow just blowing up random buildings and injuring random innocents now? Thats his idea of revenge?

Why is Gerald still alive?? Or Eggman's dad or whoever that was? You're gonna keep this old dude BUT NO WOMEN?

The moments of real tension undercut with shitty oneliners and the nauseating copaganda has soured me on the film already.

The one good thing I can find in it is, from the few lines we heard, Keanu seems to be a decent enough Shadow. There is nothing else good about this.

I doubt Amy or Rouge will make a surprise appearance in the film but were somehow missed from the trailer, same with, yknow, the giant fucking space station supposed to be hurtling towards the planet.

Are they gonna commit to killing Shadow? Unlikely. By the end of the film he'll be another one of their little cop family, working casually for the US govt inbetween, I dont know, going to school.

Sometimes being a Sonic fan feels like being repeatedly punched in the face and told you should like it. Sonic Prime did an excellent job of adapting the characters (including female ones! Imagine that!) and looking at this trailer a few months later is like being served dogshit for dessert.
