Hinamizawa Forever!

I had fun with last week's drawing, but it made me realize how rusty I've gotten while focusing on other projects.

This week I wanted to get back into it with something fun. And since cartoons is the most fun to draw, I decided to draw the Hinamizawa kids together in their wonderful village where nothing ever goes wrong. 💛

It's probably clear by looking at it, but I did spend more than an hour working on this one.

These Beatrice and Shannon scenes are SO CUTE I’m dying 😭😭 like I knowww Beatrice is evil or whatever but she’s so silly 😭😭

Genuinely enjoying the romance drama and themes here- I’m sooo invested GKFKHK I’m a huge romance fan (despite being aromantic happy pride 👍💚) and this is so fun.

It’s a classic tale of a forbidden love and magic, yet it feels so refreshing! Not the story I was expecting, but it’s very welcome XD

I wonder if Shannon is going to give Jessica the golden brooch? Beatrice said she could give it away to someone who needs it. I hope she thinks of that 030

Just started Episode 2 of Umineko. Shannon pov is really cool- but I wanted to say, I loooove Eva. She’s so fake and cutthroat I’m obsessed XD characters who act nice but are just putting on a facade are like, one of my fave tropes lol

i fucking love mion. every second of every day she's like "how can i force keiichi to wear a maid costume with cat ears today". she's the heir to a yakuza family and she doesn't spend 1% of the energy that she spends forcefemming keiichi into that. gotta respect her commitment to what really matters

Mion and Rena's relationship is really interesting because of how they complete each other. Rena is able to see through Mion's facade, actually understands when she is hurt. Mion seems like she is grounding for Rena, I need to do a re-read but one scene that comes in mind is when she told Keiichi to avoid mentioning Oyashiro-sama around her (because she understands the effect it would have on her). Just because she doesn't believe in it doesn't make her dismissive of Rena beliefs and fears.

As a mutual told me: never forget that when Rena has to leave early, it's because she has to do the errands for her father, cook and clean the house. And probably do her homeworks too.

She's doing everything in her house. She's around 14. And she doesn't tell anyone.
