Fancy something new? Grab Transmogs for Gold

If you're chasing a new transmog, and don't necessarily feel like grinding one out, there's a handful of cool sets available for gold, easily accessible from a few sources.

Although this post is obviously focusing on the Hunter versions of these transmogs, this information is mostly universal for all classes.

AH/IE Sets

The auction house provides 6 possible sets for Hunter Dragonrider Island Set Mrrglurrgl Island Set Saurok Set - Clone of View Wild Marauder Set - Clone of View Headshrinker Set - Clone of View

All of these sets are also available via Island Expeditions. Prices vary on the AH depending on set and server, and sometimes a complete set can set you back as much as 25-40k.

The easiest, quickest way to find these sets is to simply set your AH settings to Armor -> Mail and search the set name. You'll easily be able to see which items are available.

Tier Sets for Gold in Org/SW

Thanks to Gunra, Rugok and Jamus'vaz in Orgrimmar, you can quickly and easy buy a couple of Tier sets for gold. Though these aren't complete sets, as they require superfluous items to complete, they will give you the overall appearance of the set if that's all you're after. It's also fairly easy to farm the remaining pieces.

Tier sets for Gold include: Lightning-charged Battlegear Flamewalkers Battlegear Spiritwalkers Regalia (Incomplete)

These sets are available from Gunra/Rugok/Jamus'vaz in Orgrimmar for Horde and Magatha Silverton/Toren Landow/Faldren Tillsdale in Stormwind for Alliance.

Tier Sets for Gold in WotLK

Like the above sets, these sets are bought from vendors with gold. You have two options for purchasing them; you can find  your class-specific vendor in the Wrath version of Dalaran. They are not present in the Legion version. You can also purchase the sets inside Icecrown Citadel, to the right as you enter the dungeon (T10) and at the Argent Tournament (T9).

Ahn'Kahar Blood Hunter's Battlegear Windrunner's Pursuit / Windrunner's Battlegear

The Hunter vendors for these items are: Matilda Brightlink (Dalaran) Gerardo the Suave (ICC H) Talan Moonstrike (ICC A) Champion Faesroll (AT H) Aspirant Forudir (AT A)

The great thing about the T10 sets is that you can upgrade them, to one of two extra visual appearances, by completing Icecrown Citadel on higher difficulty to obtain the tokens - these are then turned into the same vendors, to obtain the new transmog.

Go get em!
