He's back!

It's been a rough few months for me. It was difficult for me to pick up cross stitching, both physically and mentally. I wasn't finding joy in it the same way I used to. But recently, I've had a good few weeks, and with it (and a few new tools) I've been able to come back to the hobby that opened the gateway to fiber arts. And of course, I had to pick Noel up first. 💜

I've lost track of the time I've spent, but I haven't lost sight of the goal to see this handsome man in a frame on my wall. My hope is that I will find my way back to writing on a more regular basis, too, but this is a great place to start. 😊

buck finally settling into eddie’s house by literally arranging his furniture in the same fucking places eddie’s was is absolutely crazy actually. especially when he was like. it doesn’t feel like My Place. it feels like eddie’s Old Place. and yet. AND YET. it was the familiarity. the setting it up the same way eddie had it set up. that settled him. that made it feel more like home. something something it was never about making it His Place. it was never about erasing eddie and making his own space separate from eddie. it was about making his own space WITHIN eddie’s space. "this is eddie’s house, i'm not really a guest" manifested.

Buck definitely doesn't know how good Eddie was at illegal street fighting or that conversation would have been like "he wasn't just a street fighter he was a champion street fighter. he was the best at it. he made a ton of money."
