hey fellas last night i took a medication which is more or less the anxiety equivalent of a horse tranquilizer & essentially enterred the fifth dimension of sleepwalking in which i awoke but enterred a dissociative fit so strong i was really confused why my loving girlfriend was not my good friend and fellow viking bjorn, who i had to bring some furs to. also i might’ve cried about this. don’t remember

Tiefling Boyfriend (Odd Part One)

A commission for @wizard-caleb that turned into a new favorite of mine. Everything just came to life so easily. So I hope you guys enjoy this story as much as I did.

You feel sick. The last thing you remember was that you were in a strange shop. You had gone because your friend had told you they sold some really interesting things. While you were there, you kept getting this feeling you were being watched. When you looked into a mirror, you saw something standing behind you. It was massive and sheet white, staring at you with many eyes. The owner of the shop was this girl with bubblegum pink hair and she tried to calm you down when you told her what you saw. The next thing you knew, the white creature grabbed you and threw you into the mirror.

Maybe it was a dream, you tell yourself. You sit up, feeling something crunch under you. You lift up a handful of leaves and dirt. You look around, realizing you’re in a cave.

AHHHHHHH

I really like the concept of monsters being attracted to humans with the opposite traits as them

Like sleek, bony monsters being really into chubby people and being absolutely fascinated by their bodies and how warm and soft they are 

Or big muscular monsters adoring tiny, thin humans and loving to pick their partners up and carry them like they weigh nothing 

Or tiny monsters being attracted to taller humans because they make them feel safe and protected 

etc etc

Monsters that try to give you compliments, but just end up sounding weird:

“Your veins are the most beautiful shade of blue. I like all of them, even the ones I can’t see.”

“You are small and delicate, like a tiny rodent with no fur.”

“I love the globular shape of your skull.”

“The scent of you is powerful and strong in my nostrils.”

If you’re straight, write stories with gay characters, but don’t write stories about being gay. That’s not your story to tell.

If you’re cis, write stories with trans characters, but don’t white stories about being trans. That’s not your story to tell.

If you’re allistic, write stories with autistic characters, but don’t write stories about being autistic. That’s not your story to tell.

If you’re neurotipical, write mentally ill characters, but don’t write stories about being mentally ill. That’s not your story to tell. 

If you’re able bodied, write stories with disabled characters, but don’t write stories about being disabled. That’s not your story to tell. 

If you’re white, write characters who are POC, but don’t write stories about being a POC. That’s not your story to tell 

Write stories with diverse and complex characters, but unless you’ve experienced the oppression that we have, don’t write the stories that we need to tell ourselves.
