uhhh……..a trans woman should be allowed to use the women’s restroom because she IS a woman, not because she LOOKS like a woman

i’ve been seeing this photoset on my dash with trans people posting selfies in the wrong bathrooms saying “do i look like i belong in the men’s room??” like it’s not about how you look……it should never be about how you look…..trans women who are not “passing” might look to the average cis person like they belong in the men’s room but they obviously don’t so like why is this the rhetoric being used to talk about a very important trans issue

a trans man should be allowed to use the men’s restroom even if they “look like a woman” or “don’t look like they belong there” like way to miss the point everyone
