What colour would Rosalie dye her hair?

I don’t think vampires can dye their hair. If they could, Alice would have frosted tips.

(And to give a slightly more serious example: Carlisle would definitely be highlighting his hair with gray in the hopes of gaslighting people into thinking his babyface looks forty.)

But say that the hair dye vampire approaches Rosalie, tells her his gift is to change a vampire’s hair color, and he’s going to use it on her no matter what but she gets to decide the color.

Rosalie would be devastated.

She loves her hair color. It’s the perfect shade of gold, it’s gorgeous, it’s part of her identity. Dyeing that hair would be traumatic to her.

But, she has no other choice in this scenario, then... blonde.

A slightly different shade of blonde.

Carlisle’s shade, perhaps, or Jasper’s, so they can better pass for being related. Or a shade unto her own. Either way she’s staying blonde or so help her god.

She never quite recovers from mourning her original haircolor.
