Boa Viagem Beach is located in the homonymous neighborhood, one of the noblest in the capital of the State of Pernambuco, full of tall and modern buildings and hotels that, at certain times of the year, shade the sand.
The beach has an excellent infrastructure, with coastal promenade, restaurants, bike path, runnig track, sports courts, public toilets and gym equipment.
An excellent option is to sit in a chair in the sand and order an ice cold drink, accompanied by a caldito de feijão (beans), sururu (common seafood on the northeast coast), shrimp and various other flavors. Despite the heat in the city, it is a local preference. It is worth trying!

CARNIVAL OF RIO DE JANEIRO
Those who visit Rio de Janeiro during the Carnival days will enjoy an incomparable atmosphere that shows like no other, the cheerful character of the cariocas, where social differences, cultural or racial disappears and all hearts beat to the rhythm of the same passion.
The neighborhoods that host some of the most famous blocks are Ipanema, Copacabana, Botafogo, Santa Teresa and the Historic Center.
In its beginnings, the parades of the Samba Schools that competed in the Carnival of Rio de Janeiro were carried out in the streets of the city, until in 1984 they were transferred to the new Sambódromo Marqués de Sapucaí (Officially called Passarela Professor Darcy Ribeiro). This gigantic outdoor stage, 500 meters long and with capacity for 75.000 people, was designed by the architect Oscar Niemeyer.
The festival begins on Friday of carnival with the Coronation of King Momo by the mayor who gives him the keys of the city. That same afternoon, the event began with the parade of children’s samba schools.
On Saturday the official parades begin and on that day the samba schools of Group A or Access Group are presented
