A couple days ago, I finished the last draft of my YA fantasy novel!!! (with a grey-ace MC!) and now I'm in the stage where I have to let it sit for a while before I start editing it, but I have so many ideas and I can't wait!!! I realized that I need to add a lot to the beginning for the relationships between the characters to develop and to make the MC more active in her own story and to improve the flow of the plot! I'm going to be adding subplots for the other characters and developing them all more - I love them all so much and now I get to give them chances to grow and become all that they can be. And I can further explore the world I've created and show the MC's true magical powers and her path with developing them.

I'm going on a trip overseas in two days (!!!!!!) and the second I get back, I'm diving back into the world of my novel (which will be split into two books in the second draft!). And I can't wait to pour my heart into these characters and their story!!

this isnt an ace post. yet. i have a hypothesis. so we’ll see. I cannot stress how little I would have cared if the movie wasn’t the best because I know in my heart of hearts she would have carried it.
