So I rewatched seasons 4-5 to more closely examine how I think writers wanted to end show if season 5 was the last and I'm 100% convinced Ezra was going to be Uber A and Alison was hiding from Ezra. This would create a complex Ali where she wasn't telling the girls Ezra was A but we could be sympathetic into her hiding from obsessed ex

That would have been an INCREDIBLE ending!
