Doodling Shelf Collection, by Italian designer and architect Roberto Giacomucci, combines marble and perforated metal sheets to form a series of abstract shelves that resemble playful doodles. The white Carrara marble, milled using a 5-axis CNC machine giving it the curved, doodle-like lines, is paired with copper and brass finished metal backs, resulting in the perfect contrast. . . @robertogiacomucci . . Brugola coffee table, by Italian designer Roberto Giaccomuci for Riva 1920. A wooden coffee table that proposes an icon with a strong symbolic value, dear to those who work with this material: the screw. But everything is veiled in irony and playfulness. The coffee table, at first glance, seems to be firmly screwed to the ground and there was a change of perspective worthy of Alice in Wonderland: the small object is distorted and, like magic, oversized to serve a new function. Made out of a single Lebanon cedar wood block. . . @robertogiacomucci @riva1920_official . . Follow @trendbassador and discover the coolest design products on Earth. http://ift.tt/2upt2Oa

Gorge coffee table, by Korean product designer Ramei Keum. The top and the legs form one piece and create storage for magazines in slots running down two sides. The metre-wide piece of furniture is made of powder-coated steel. The shape of a gorge folded in a V shape itself plays a structural role of supporting the top board of the table, and plays a role of holding/keeping magazines or books as well as completing an aesthetic form of the table. . . @official_rameikeum . . U34 pendant lamp by Mexican studio Shift for GrupoLite is Shift's third design developed under their modern lighting concept, this time exploring the spherical volume of an icosahedral structure. The repetition of equilateral triangles of identical dimensions enables an easier production and assembly. As with the rest of their U lamps, the U34's materials and looks take heavily from urban architecture, in this case a more pronounced nod towards industrial metallic structures. Doubling both as a pendant and table top lamp, the U34's geometry allows for a simple yet versatile design. . . @byshift @grupolite . . TribĂș coffee table collection by architects Michela and Paolo Baldessari for Italian brand De Castelli. In spite of their heavy material, the tables have a very air-like appearance reflecting the art of ironwork involved in their production. Both designers have created the coffee table with three different shades of metal. The circular plans associated with the thin legs give the impression of lightness. The appearance of the pieces is enhanced by the use of noble materials such as iron, copper and brass. The sophisticated crafting skills of De Castelli inherited from the centuries-long legacy of the Celato family and the use of today’s most cutting-edge technology made this creation possible. . . @decastelli_official . . Polygon chair by Croatian design brand Prostoria; an armchair whose armrests are based on the modernist typology of a seat of modest dimensions. It fulfils the functional parameters but does not usurp spaces that are susceptible to bulk and immobility. Each change in perspective transforms the triangles that define the orthogonal side view of the armchair, into hexagons and other complex polygons. The end result is a product which seems familiar, even a little old-fashioned, yet is simultaneously distinctly modern. . . @prostoria . .
