i found a gallery on deviantart that solely consists of pictures of actresses heads put on bird legs.

back in 2011, there was a meme going around where artists revisited older artworks and put them side by side, which i did back then! some of my followers suggested i add yet another installation to that meme, so here it is, just for fun :) still a fan of ariel’s pink dress tbh.

i think the biggest difference in how i work today is that i almost always use a ‘painted’ style with a lot of blending; i really ditched the “lineart + flat colors” technique. i also changed my approach to color, with more bright colors in the shadows and lines. but i did return to more cartoony proportions in the years since 2011 so to see :)
