Jesus Christ, the Son of God and Son of Man, wanted to be followed but not worshipped? Is that true?
Tumblr media
As we get closer and closer to End Times, it seems there are two different directions people are going pertaining to Christianity. One direction goes towards apostasy and godlessness, two conditions of the world's birth pains that were prophesied in the Holy Bible.
The other direction is more for God as people are coming back stronger in the Church. Not only that, people -- young, old, man, woman, all cultures, and all skin colors -- are becoming more involved and understanding of what Jesus Christ wanted. They are able to evangelize their testimony as well as the credibility of the Holy Bible too.
So when I came across the statement that, "Jesus Christ wasn't supposed to be worshipped, just followed," I was surprised. I will be honest and say I am more than halfway in reading the Holy Bible in its entirety from end to end, but is it really true that Jesus Christ wasn't supposed to be worshipped and just followed? Well, let's dive into the New Testament and find out, shall we?
Where did the belief that Jesus Christ wanted to be followed and not worshipped come from?
Before diving into the Holy Bible and finding not just verses but storied events proving Jesus Christ received worship, we must identify the cunning snake near the Tree of Life (my version of saying the elephant in the room). Where did the belief that Jesus Christ wanted to be followed and not worshipped come from?
There is no one primary reason where the aforementioned belief of Jesus Christ only wanting to be followed and not worshipped came from, but it probably comes down to the fact most popular Bible verses about Jesus Christ either centers on His love or justification of acceptance.
I mean the two most popular Bible verses among most people center on the extent of Jesus's love or what love is.
"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life." -- John 3:16
"Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud." -- 1 Corinthians 13:4
True most people only take the quote at face value and never take into account the whole chapter, the whole book, or daresay the whole Holy Bible in what it means, but the aforementioned quotes are still the two most popular quotes in the Holy Bible nevertheless.
And without taking the whole Holy Bible into account especially the Old Testament, quotes are taken out of context or misinterpreted on what they mean.
Both sides of the political spectrum have used this tactic for their own selfish and personal means. The left has used it to justify the LGBTQ+ movement and pro-choice, the right has used it to justify the Right to Bear Arms and taxation without representation.
Self-Justification over what God wants
What is the one thing that stands out about the most popular Bible verses and how they relate to people today? They CAN be used for self or society serving purposes. The thing is that with Bible verses that are straightforward serving or putting God first, there is no way someone can justify them for self or society serving purposes.
That is why such verses of putting God first over self, following Him, and the like, are not popular. But let's take it even further. How about worshipping God? There are plenty of verses that show God the Father being worshipped but what about God the Son, Jesus Christ?
Jesus Christ accepted worship
I will be blunt. Jesus Christ accepted worship. You, as well as most people especially those who just know scripture by verses instead of reading the whole thing, may not know that. However, there are plenty of events that happened showing Jesus Christ recieving worship.
Compelling Truth does a great job explaining and detailing events and verses that show Jesus Christ accepted worship but I will use just three of the examples they use.
Tumblr media
First example is when the Three Wise Men arrived to Jesus Christ. Technically, the men were magi, scholars of Old Testament whom knew the prophecies. When they arrived to Jesus Christ, they knew the prophesies and humbled themselves by worshipping the child and bearing gifts fit for a king.
"And going into the house they saw the child with Mary his mother, and they fell down and worshiped him. Then, opening their treasures, they offered him gifts, gold and frankincense and myrrh." -- Matthew 2:11
After Jesus Christ's resurrection, many -- including the remaining apostles except for Thomas -- worshipped Him. The verse pertaining to worship specifically states worship despite that same verse saying some doubted.
"And when they saw him they worshiped him, but some doubted." -- Matthew 28:7
Tumblr media
As for Thomas, there is a reason he is known as "The Doubter." He doubted Jesus Christ especially when he rose from the dead. Jesus was fully ressurected and standing in front of Thomas but Thomas still doubted. It was until Jesus Christ let Thomas touch the spear wound on His side did Thomas recognize Jesus Christ and worshipped Him by proclaiming that Jesus Christ is not just lord but God!
"Then He (Jesus Christ) said to Thomas, 'Put your finger here, and see my hands; and put out your hand, and place it in my side. Do not disbelieve, but believe.' Thomas answered him, 'My Lord and my God!' Jesus said to him, 'Have you believed because you have seen Me? Blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed.' -- John 20:27 to 29
The "Proskuneo" Factor
One of the biggest issues people have about Jesus Christ receiving worship is that of "Proskuneo" which is defined as "to bow down to the ground before someone and kiss his feet, the hem of his garment, or the ground in front of him."
An example of Jesus Christ receiving proskuneo but possibly no worship is in Revelation when God the Father makes all of Satan bow down before Jesus Christ. They were not worshipping Jesus though but were committing proskuneo. Ergo, people like to use this example to mean that Jesus did not receive or call to be worshipped.
Why many kings and monarchs who follow other gods received proskuneo by definition too. What makes Jesus Christ different?
If Jesus Christ was not God and He was devotedly loyal to God the Father, he would deny worship. Many prophets, people of God the Father, and even heavenly beings serving and coming on behalf of God, especially angels, denied worship when people gave it to them.
Yet, Jesus Christ accepted worship because He was and still is God.

Church needs to leave the building for True Christianity to grow!
Tumblr media
As a Watchman on the Wall, it is up to us to see the signs and warn other Christ Followers about the upcoming events that were inspirationally written by John the Revelator. For many watchmen, especially those who run websites on the matter such as CBN News or End Time Headlines, the concentration seems to be on doom and gloom.
If you don't believe me, just yesterday (Monday, July 27, 2021), CBN News published an article on all the natural disasters that are currently plaguing the western United States. As of the publication of the article, there are 90 wildfires across 11 states, another record-breaking drought, monsoons, sandstorms, and who knows what else.
Though the large array of natural disasters point to End Times, the one sign that seems to go under the wire, maybe because it isn't a doom and gloom angle to score viewership and ratings, is the church. Christianity will finally reach every corner of the world before End Times happens. It will happen but the progress can only move forward if Christ Followers do one thing: have the church leave the building.
Now many people might read the aforementioned paragraph and scoff at the statement. However, I digress. Simply look at the church over the past three decades today included. For example, earlier this year, I was a volunteer witness for one of Andrew Palau's festivals located in Viera, Florida, Space Coast CityFest. It was an amazing event that brought hundreds of people to God. I am proud God used me, and some other friends who were there, for the event.
Even though Space Coast CityFest was technically a success, I had to wonder if it really did "leave the church building to save people." The event took place at Event Park which is right across the street from the Viera campus of the main church that backs the event, Calvary Chapel. The Evangelistic material was designed to truly reach out to people in accordance with the event happening at the time all within the safety of a fenced-off, security-detailed event.
In short, Church did not really leave the building with Space Coast CityFest. And if you want to get technical, it crossed the street to another "safe space."
If you think about it, Church has been a "safe space" for a very long time. We can even go back to when Spain was evangelizing through mission work for the Catholic Church. Historically, the Catholic Church would go wherever Spain would colonize (thus why my home country of the Philippines is Catholic) but only where Spain has established a colony. When I say colony, I actually mean "safe" (or as close to "safe" as they can get). Are there any missions in which the Catholic Church just goes to some random jungle to evangelize? Maybe but I can't find any records of it.
Even today's missions are safe. I don't know if you have ever been on a modern-day mission but if you have, you'll definitely go wherever the mission is set to take you but you'll mostly end up at a compound or outpost that was set up as a hub to evangelize to the natives in the area. Once again, safe.
Now don't get me wrong. I am not knocking on safety for that is surely tantamount these days. But are we being "too safe?" And when it comes to missions, do some of us (who have the skills, training, and ability) have to step out of our safe zone to truly bring the Word of God or Gospel of Jesus to everyone?
Apparently, the answer is "yes." For Christianity to grow, it needs to leave Church (as in the building) and actually go back out into the world.
youtube
Probably the first time I saw the aforementioned in action is through the show Travel the Road. The show is about missionaries Tim Scott and Will Decker as they go to the most remote places to bring the Gospel of Jesus Christ to people. This may include civilizations that have never seen modern technology ever. So in short, their arrival is oftentimes a culture shock.
Even though the video editing is phenomenal and of studio quality, don't get it twisted when I say Tim and Will suffer and go through a lot to bring the Word of God to people. With little to nothing but what they have in packs, they have experienced a lot of hardship just so people would get to know Jesus.
Now does leave Church (once again, the building) to truly see Christianity grow mean going to the deepest, darkest jungles and the most remote deserts just like Tim and Will do? No. There are many people in places here in the United States who may have an opportunity to know Jesus if Christ Followers visited them.
youtube
Case and point: the adult entertainment/sex industry. At this moment, XXXchurch and Strip Church are bringing the Word of God to people in said industry.
I personally like the direction of XXXchurch and how they have grown and matured since I first heard of them back in the first decade after 2000 through ICE Powered (Intense Christian Entertainment).
To describe how they were in their early days, I would say a more organized and much larger Porn Addicts Anonymous group. They did what they can through God and the power of the Holy Spirit to help many get over porn addiction and to save those who are trapped in the porn and sex industry. Though highly successful, they were on the losing end of the battle.
The issue with XXXchurch is nothing to do with them but the industry they were reaching out to and how Christianity viewed the industry as well as XXXchurch. Despite the numbers showing that many Christ Followers struggle with porn addiction, it was often considered "shameful" for it to be known and to have that part of a person be hidden in a box away from societal eyes. XXXchurch was willing to help people with that hidden box. Many Christians are more than happy for what XXXchurch does but they would never make it known they were associated with them simply because of what XXXchurch deals with.
To summarize the situation, porn addiction is that super huge elephant in the room representing Christians and the church, and only a small arrow labeled "XXXchurch" is the only one to acknowledge that elephant. See the situation there? Big problem but nobody really wants to acknowledge it.
youtube
To counter this "losing battle," XXXchurch has grown from its years of experience and knows they have to "lift the veil" on the industry and have honest, open, raw discussions in which people are "in the know" instead of just constantly shoving the industry into a little dinky black box of shame.
Now led by former pornstar who was saved by Jesus Christ, Brittni De La Mora, XXXchurch is educating Christians about the business so we actually know how it works. By doing so, it will become an asset in showing Jesus to those trapped in the industry through business or addiction without being judgy.
Where can we begin?
Probably one of the best resources we have on evangelizing outside of Church (for the last time, the building) is in the Holy Bible. The Book of Acts is probably an excellent place to start as it teachers readers about what the early Church did primarily through Simon Peter and Paul the Apostle.
For further reading, I would suggest reading Christianity to Go by Glen Berteau. Doesn't exactly show tips and tricks to evangelize to people outside of Church, but the life experience of evangelizing outside of Church written by Berteau may provide insight.

The Strength and Faith of Mary, Mother of God
Tumblr media
Yesterday, many people within the United States -- for I am unsure if this Hallmark Holiday also applies to others outside of the country I live in -- celebrated mothers through Mothers Day. A bit of detail about my personal life, I got my mother a gift certificate to partake in the spa services of the Halo Salt Cave. I had the pleasure of enjoying its services at one time and I am sure my mother will enjoy herself there too.
Today, we will continue to celebrate mothers through the following discussion about Mary, the woman who was selected by God Himself to give birth to our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Given the tradition, culture, and time of when Jesus was born, Mary would need to rely on strong faith to get her through her task of giving birth and raising the Son. Why you ask? Let's take an analytical look on Mary being the mother of God and how her circumstances would have been seen during her time on Earth.
#1 -- A Pregnant Virgin
We will start with the "obvious" point on why Mary had to have strong faith in God pertaining to being the mother of God and that is she was pregnant despite being a virgin. These days, there are advancements in science in which a virgin can become pregnant, but generally, it takes insemination through sexual intercourse for pregnancy to happen.
Instead, the angel sent from God gives an explanation on how Mary is pregnant with the Son of God. This is detailed in the Gospel of Luke, verses 34 to 37.
How will this be,” Mary asked the angel, “since I am a virgin?”
The angel answered, “The Holy Spirit will come on you, and the power of the Highest will overshadow you. So the holy one to be born will be called the Son of God. Even Elizabeth your relative is going to have a child in her old age, and she who was said to be unable to conceive is in her sixth month. For no word from God will ever fail.”
Mary needed to have faith in God the Father pertaining to her unnatural and divine pregnancy. And most likely, that is why God the Father chose her as she would simply believe and obey. Gospel of Luke, verse 38 says it clear how faithful Mary was after hearing from the Angel of the Lord.
“I am the Lord’s servant,” Mary answered. “May your word to me be fulfilled.” Then the angel left her.
#2 -- "Breaking" the Law
Imagine this. You are a Joseph and you are about to be wed to Mary. Suddenly, you learn she is pregnant prior to your marriage. According to the Law given to Moses, Mary committed numerous sins that are punishable by death. Firstly, Mary seems to "not be a virgin" given the fact she is pregnant. Joseph's rationale also pushes the belief that she had sexual relations with another man to get pregnant. Joseph, being the good man he is, had the right by the law to stone Mary to death or divorce her. Fortunately, he was a good and kind man and chose to divorce her quietly until God the Father came to Joseph in a dream and told him everything and what to do too.
The aforementioned is just what Joseph would know. Do you think Mary would also know this? The answer is yes. But still, Mary showed strong faith in God the Father to do what His will be done.
Tumblr media
Ultimately, we have to be greatful for Mary for having the strong faith to do with God the Father wanted her to do despite what others may think. But to be fair, God the Father knew what He was doing when He selected Mary over others to be the Mother of the Son of God. In closing, we give thanks to God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit through the name of God the Son, King of the Universe, Jesus Christ. Amen.

True Christ Followers are no longer the faith majority in the United States
Tumblr media
Back when the United States was a fledgling country, our forefathers utilized the Holy Bible to draft one of our most important documents, the Constitution of the United States. Ergo, it is safe to say our forefathers wanted the United States to be a country following the commandments, statutes, limitations, and laws provided by God Himself.
Jump ahead to today, it is evident that with all we let slide, the following sad statement is most-likely true: True Christ Followers are no longer the faith majority in the United States.
The Majority of Americans are Christian?
According to research presented in an article by the Pew Research Center back in 2019, about 65% of adults in the United States identified as Christian. Back in 2015, about 75% of adults in the United States identified as Christian. It took a span of four years for the percentage to drop by 10 percentage points. This drop is exponentially quicker than the previous 10 percentage percent point drop from 85% to 75% from 1990 to 2015 (25 years). This means we are losing more Christians in the United States at a quicker pace than ever before.
True Christ Followers vs. "Christians"
Sadly, the 65% of adults in the United States identifying as Christians may not even be True Christ Followers. I know this is a hard pill to swallow but there are hallmarks that show a person is a true Christ Follower compared to someone who is a "Chreaster" (Christians that attend church only on Easter and Christmas).
I will go into further detail what the hallmarks of a True Christ Follower is compared to "Christians," but for starters, the True Christ Follower is no longer the person they were. They are a different person now made pure, sanctified and forgiven by Jesus Christ because they admitted to Him they are sinners, they can't save themselves, and the only way to the Father is through the Son.
"Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come!" -- 2 Corinthians 5:17
With Jesus Christ now indwelt in the True Christ Follower, they will be indwelt with the Holy Spirit. This will help and guide them in following God's law especially the two love laws: Love thy God and Love they enemies like yourself, praying, giving thanks, praising, studying the Word of God, and worshipping. The Holy Spirit will also "bear fruit" for the True Christ Follower.
"But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control; against such there is no law." -- Galatians 5:22 & 23
This fruit of the Holy Spirit will then be used to become "A light in the darkness" which in turn leads to following Jesus's last command before he ascended into heaven from the Mount of Olives: getting more people to Christ and making them into disciples who in turn will get more people to Christ.
"...for once you were darkness, but now you are light in the Lord; walk as children of light..." -- Ephesians 5:8
"Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit." -- Matthew 28:19
True Christ Followers are always somewhere on this path of being "Born Again" either they be feeding on the milk, bread, or meat of the Word of the Lord.If someone says they are Christian and they do not talk about God openly (when they know it is safe to do so), read the Holy Bible, engage in the Lord in prayer more so than just on Sunday, bear the fruit of the Holy Spirit, try to disciple, etc. then take what they say with a grain of salt and protect your heart.
Earthly Desire vs. The Lord
Probably the stretch of time that showed me that True Christ Followers are now in the minority is after President Joe Biden won the vote back on November 3, 2020 and before his inauguration on January 20, 2021. This short amount of time showed me who put God first over President Donald Trump, who followed God's condition whenever a prophesy was given to a credible prophet, and who followed false prophets over established and tested prophets.
Let's start with praying. Many people who prayed during this time never really prayed in their regular lives with Christ. Sorry to say it, but that is true. When President Joe Biden "won" the election, many started praying for revenge and for "the wicked to be punished" a.k.a. bad and hurtful things to the Democratic Party for the transgressions they were accused of. What we needed to do was to pray for God to take control and that His will, His good prevails.
Moving on to the prophesies, True Christ Followers understand a lot of God's prophesies are conditional. For example, God promised Joshua he would take over the city of Jericho BUT he needed to do something to make the walls fall. It would make no sense for a rational person to march around the city multiple times over the course of the week and then march around the city seven times on the seventh day than scream, but that is what God wanted Joshua and his army to do. Below is one of the prophetic videos of Robin Bullock from Sid Roth’s It’s Supernatural YouTube channel. It is loaded with “false prophet” comments in the bottom and to be fair, Sid Roth did write the tagline incorrectly as the prophets never said Trump will win. Instead, they saw Trump’s name going up and Biden’s name going down BUT there was a condition too. Did you catch it?
youtube
Nobody listened to Robin and Robin Bullock when they said God wants His people to praise Him. I saw very little praising after that prophesy. Once again, if you don’t fill the condition God has given for prophesy why would it happen?
Apparently, Christians want all the blessings but none of the belief nor the obedience... unless you’re a True Christ Follower. We knew to pray for the country, we knew to put our faith in God and to leave Donald Trump to the Lord, and we knew how to be thankful for four years of Donald Trump when it wasn’t so.
The Majority of “Christians”
Sadly, most “Christians” are not the above. A lot of them are Christian only when it is convenient or they partake in relative moralism as in it is okay as long as they are not attacked or provoked. This can be said about their a-okay attitude towards abortion and transgendering everything. As a matter of fact, many of them support it too.
Many leftist Christians (an oxymoron per se) fall into this category too in which they put their race, their ideals, their worldly values, their feelings before God. For example, many Christians voted for Joe Biden because they did not like how Donald Trump acts or presents himself. Yet they find abortion up to after childbirth as long as the umbelical cord is still attached and mandating liberal agenda into faith terrible despite the fact that is what Joe Biden supports.
_________________________________________
So am I surprised that the prayers of the faithful and the devout did not sway to keep Donald Trump as president? No I am not especially when the majority of “Christians” don’t even stand with a lot of what God or Christ would stand for.
There is a godless and apostate spirit sweeping the once great nation of the United States and I truly believe that God is setting everything up for a huge harvest for souls for the Lord. But if the shadow government keeps controlling the narrative for their own luciferian desires, true Christ Followers will need to make a choice: flee when the Lord tells them to, fight back, or die a martyr. The latter will be more evident when the trains come around to take them to “Training Camps.”

Is Donald Trump’s historic deal between Israel and United Arab Emrites a precursor to him being the Antichrist?
Tumblr media
Throughout the entirety of his first term in the presidential office, President Donald Trump has shown a strong stance in brokering peace in the Middle East specifically for Israel. Earlier this year back in January, the White House formed a plan titled Peace to Prosperity: A Vision to Improve the Lives of the Palestinian and Israeli People. The 181-page plan imposed few painful demands on Israel while allowing it to annex strategic occupied land in the West Bank.
Probably the single most significant part of the plan would be that the White House plan would discard a U.S. policy consensus that a final political settlement would be roughly based on the borders between Israel and its Arab neighbors back in 1967 before the former claimed new lands in war with the latter.
In turn, Palestinians were promised $50 billion (think about that for a moment) in international investment if they agreed to the White House plan. On their behalf, they would need to recognize Israel as a Jewish state, accepted limited Palestinian sovereignty, and pass a series of laws aimed against Islamic terrorist group, Hamas, specifically ending the practice of providing financial compensation to the families of imprisoned or dead militants.
Tumblr media
Ultimately, the White House plan has stated that, “A realistic solution would give the Palestinians all the power to govern themselves but not the powers to threaten Israel.” It also stated there would be limitations of certain sovereign powers in Palestinian areas” in order for this part to work.
Immediately, Mahmoud Abbas -- the “sovereign” president of Palestinian regions (which I will just simply call Palestine) -- aggressively opposed he plan and stated:
“I say to Trump and Netanyahu: Jerusalem is not for sale. All our rights are not for sale and are not for bargain. And your deal, the conspiracy, will not pass.”
Though things did not work out for the White House and Israel with Palestine, President Trump just recently secured a historic deal between Israel and the United Arab Emirates to advance peace and prosperity in the region. With Trump actually succeeding in brokering peace in the Middle East between Israel and her Arab neighbors, the question is it a precursor to Trump being the Antichrist?
Peace and Prosperity between Israel and the United Arab Emirates
Last month, President Donald Trump brokered an agreement to normalize relations between Israel and the United Arab Emirates (UAE), a first such agreement between Israel and a major Arab country since almost three decades ago (1994).
Both countries have committed to exhange embassies and ambassadors and to beging cooperation in a broad range of field including education, healthcare, trade, and security. To be honest, this kind of deal could have only gone through with the UAE as they are the first major Arab state to recognize Israel since the Israel-Jordan Peace Treaty was signed back in 1994.
The agreement will also further advance both countries as Israel is quite possibly the most prominent economy in the Middle East while the UAE has both the fastest growing economy and assimilation into the modern technological world among other major Arab countries. Just look at Abu Dhabi and Dubai if you want examples of how advanced the UAE is.
youtube
With the aforementioned said, there are many who claim that President Donald Trump is the Antichrist as he is brokering a monumental treaty with a prominent Middle Eastern Arab country. But how much of those accusations fit with End Times prophesy and eschatology.
Donald Trump is far from being the Antichrist
For many who have thoroughly studied Christian eschatology especially Revelation, we can tell you that the Holy Bible has enough information on what the Antichrist would be. We don’t know who he is, but we do know details about him. Following these details, we can easily say that President Donald Trump is not the Antichrist.
For starters, the Antichrist will be the opposite of Jesus Christ in all things according to the medieval view communicated by writers like Adso and Ripelin and many others on the principle that Antichrist is parodic of Christ. This can and may include the following:
Born of a whore by means of conception by a diabolical spirit.
Born from the Tribe of Dan in Babylon.
Will grow up in obscurity and come into power around 30.
Will perform tricks as opposed to miracles.
His reign will be 3.5 years like Christ.
He will come into Jerusalem hailed and revered by Jews.
Taking some of the details above, the Antichrist will be a young man coming from the former Roman Empire. From last I remember, President Donald Trump is none of those things.
Let’s also bring into account that the historic deal between Israel and the UAE has no timeframe and is between Israel and only one of the major Arab countries in the Middle East. The peace treaty between Israel and the rest of the world, especially Arab nations, will be seven years in which the Antichrist will not keep his end of the deal halfway through it, as detailed in Daniel 9:27.
He will confirm a covenant with many for one “seven.” In the middle of the “seven,” he will put an end to sacrifice and offering. And at the temple, he will set up an abomination that causes desolation, until the end that is decreed is poured ouot on him.
So you all know, “He” is the Antichrist, “seven” is the Seven-Year Tribulation period, him putting an end to sacrifice and offering will go against the Jew’s as they believe in animal sacrifice to atone for sins as Jesus is not the ultimate sacrifice to atone all sins. Finally, the Third Temple will be desecrated with an idol that opposes God.
There is more information in the Holy Bible and through studying that further proves that President Donald Trump is not the Antichrist. Ultimately, he may actually be doing something in favor of the Lord as he supports His people.
Ultimately, devout and true Christ Followers will know when the Antichrist is here as the peace treaty will truly be one that affects Israel and all her enemies for a planned seven years exactly. Not only that, the man brokering the treaty will be a charismatic young man, someone who seems to be universally loved, who will be “new to politics.”
Until then, any true peace treaty between Israel and others is a testament to the fact that prayers for the peace of Jerusalem (Israel), as stated in Psalm 122:6, are being answered.

What is a Watchman on the Wall?
G“Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.” -- Luke 21:36 (KJV)
Tumblr media
Throughout Biblical history, Father God has assigned people, both men and women, to be a part of the Christian ministry. In their guidance, they either become pastors, evangelists, teachers, apostles, or prophets in the five-fold ministry.
Today, we are going to talk about a unique follower of God known as the Watchman, specifically the Watchman on the Wall.
Historically, watchmen were soldiers who would stand guard at the walls of their cities or towns. They would keep a vigilent eye for any danger to the city or town they were protecting. If danger is seen, they would warn the city of said danger and, according to what God says, the people would either fight or escape.
Today, the Watchman on the Wall is a figurative state for teachers, evangelists, and prophets who specialize primarily to Christian eschatology. In short, they see the signs of the upcoming Seven-Year Tribulation and End Times.
Over the next two weeks, we will further detail the signs of the upcoming Seven-Year Tribulation as preached by Jesus Christ. They are the following as detailed in Luke 21.
Wars
Earthquakes
Famines
Pestilence
Persecution
We will also include Godlessness and Apostasy in the Last Days before the Seven-Year Tribulation as detailed in 2 Timothy 3 and 4.
I hope these studies will further bring you closer to Jesus Christ in accepting him as your Lord and Savior. We are coming up closer and closer to the Seven-Year Tribulation and I hope many are ready for God.
