Long Time No See | Trixel Soaf
I never thought I’ll be spending the day with an old friend of mine that I haven’t seen in eight years! We meet up today after so long and It was such a lovely day out! We walked all along the seafront, old town and more. So I’ll thought I’ll tell you about my day out!
So first off, we went and had our morning tea and coffee, we then started walking through the town, to the old town, looked in some shops and such and then started walking along the seafront.
First off, me and my friend Andy, went through the old town. First I thought I’ll take a photo of this old lift that’s been there for probably decades. I thought It looked pretty cool, It goes up to the West Hill. You can lift or walk up uphill stairs which after a while you wish you took the lift!
Tumblr media
After that, we started walking forward and saw these old boats. Which have been here a long time. This part of town and some history and such. There’s alot to do around here, like sea-life centre, museums, and much more. We thought we would take a photo of these. My friend Andy used his phone for his camera and I took my camera out with me so I can use that.
Tumblr media
After that, we started walking back nearer to the new part of town. Where there’s a golf course, pubs, food, arcades and much more. In the photo below, It doesn’t look like good weather but believe me, It was so hot and windy. I think the both us died of heat while walking everywhere. Then again, we did walk 13000 steps and more! I’ve been walking around since 9:25AM.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
After we walked around there, we kept walking around all the way along the the other side of the seafront where the new Pier has been build. My friend hasn’t seen or been on the new pier and so I showed him today. He wasn’t impressed. He thought It was such waste of potential. The only thing he liked was the small building wall in the middle of the pier. That was It. I think it’s to empty and needs more. But we will see in the future If that’ll happen. After that we talked, took more photos along the seafront. Walked back into town and got lunch and then we went shopping, after that we said our goodbyes.

Thank you Andy for the nice day out! It was so lovely to see you after 8 years! We shouldn’t leave it that long again! Haha!
Have you got any friends that you haven’t seen for a long time? Maybe meet up and have a day out like we did.
Thanks for reading Chums!

Feeling Useless? | Trixel Soaf
Do you ever get that feeling where you just feel useless and your dragging people down? That’s what I've been feeling like for a while now.
I got married in 2012 to my amazing husband, but a couple of weeks before, I got made redundant from work. Since then I haven’t found a job. I've applied for so many jobs and apprenticeships the past four years but they don’t get back to me or I don’t get the job. My husbands had to work two jobs at one point to support us. He gets upset when all his friends have gone on awesome days out and generally just have fun, When he works and all his money goes on bills and rent. I feel so useless and I feel like I'm dragging him down. He said it’s not my fault and it’s just inconvenient about me not having a job. Every spare money I get I give it straight to him for bills. Even my birthday money, Christmas money. I just feel like I’m dragging him down. I’ve applied for four jobs today so I’m hoping one of them get back to me. There’s a lot more things happening but I’ll leave that for another time.
Has anyone had the same problem?
If anyone has any advice then just leave a comment!

Handmade Gift Present Idea | Trixel Soaf
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Hello, I've been thinking really hard about what to get people as gifts with little money? well your in luck as I have a great handmade gift present idea to share with you all! If you like colouring and have a colouring book. Then there's your ideal present. I'm using my Secret Garden Colouring Book that my friend brought me for my birthday. If you don't have one their really easy to get. You can buy them cheap for about £5 in Asda, Tesco or Sainsburys. The pens on the other hand aren't the cheapest. But I brought a pack of 20 pens for £8.But they keep going down in price with free delivery on Amazon. Then once you've got the book and pens, then you can colour in a picture of your choice. then once you've finished, photocopy it if you have a scanner, but if not you can always cut the page out if you think that would look nicer. After that. get a coloured frame of your choice and put the picture in it. You can get frames for cheap like in The Range, Dunelm and ESK (If anyone else knows that store) So that's about it. There's my gift present idea.
The one on the bottom is the picture that I'm doing for my Mum for a gift. She loves love hearts and cute things. She hinted to me that she wanted a love heart picture. So I thought I'll colour in my own. I'm also going to do one for other family members. I think it's a lovely idea if you don't have a lot of money to spend or you have a lot of people to buy for. Like me. So this is something you've created and it's handmade pretty much. It's a meaningful gift and I'm looking forward to giving these to my friends and family. So if you think that's a good idea and have any more questions, then let me know! Hope this helped! Thank you for reading!

The Sussex Exchange Experience | Trixel Soaf
Hello, This has been on my mind a lot lately and I wanted this to be my first blog. Some people may not understand or think I'm being stupid but here's a story about a job I recently got. So my younger brother was starting his new job at this event place called The Sussex Exchange on the 2nd of November and they needed a evening cleaner. So he recommended me. I had an interview on the 28th of October 2015 and got the job so they asked me to start on the same day as my brother. So 5 days later, I get ready for work, Mum picked me up and my brother phones me to say the person training me is off sick so I wont be able to start till Tuesday (Which in all fairness they should of called me, not get my brother to do it). So the next day I get a phone call saying she's still off sick and they will call me Wednesday to tell me what's going on. They never called me. I start getting worried and my brother said I defiantly have the job and to not worry. So I ask my brother what's going on. He told me I have to be there at 10am for training on the 9th of November. I thought finally! So I got there at 9:50am and I had to wait over an hour. She then led me into her office to tell me that she doesn't know what to do with me and I don't have a job...In my mind I was like "Why am I here for training today then If I don't have a job?" I told her I was offered 20-25 hours a week cleaning in the evening from 5pm onwards. She gave me this look to say "yeah we don't have that much spare hours" She even forgot my name, kept going on her phone and kept having fag breaks. Which I thought was really unprofessional. She offered me 5 days work in December and that was it. So It got to the 16th of November and my brother phones again to say they need me in tomorrow (17th of November) at 9am to start helping in the kitchen..I was even more confused and told him I don't have a job there. He had this tiring voice saying "You do have a job!" I was confused but thought I'll go anyway. So the next day I got there at 8:30am as that was the only time I could get there. The lady who told me I didn't have a job, said hello and said I can start work tomorrow in the kitchen from 12pm onwards Mon-Fri. I told her that wasn't a good time for me as I can't get there and I only said yes to the job because it was from 5pm onwards which was perfect for me. So she said I can work in the morning doing breakfast maybe. She said she'll talk to the boss and let me know. My first impression of the place and people weren't good. Everyone that worked there had to be in to clean a kitchen...The first thing that I thought was really unprofessional was they all were constantly swearing, being rude and bitched about people they know. Also they kept having tea breaks every 10 minutes and fag breaks every 15 minutes. Know one wore uniform expect one lady who was taking phone calls downstairs. They also haven't done anyone a contract, as my brother told me which I think is awful. I worked my ass off 9-3pm with a 5 minute break. My feet, back and hands hurt so much as I was pretty much the only one doing the work. Everyone kept piling things on a side table for me to do while they all chatted to each other and got to eat chocolate brownies. Thanks for asking me if I wanted anything. Rude. It was 3pm and I did everything there could possibly be in the kitchen. My Mum phoned me and asked if I wanted to be picked up from work as it was the only time I could get home. So know one said goodbye to me, I didn't even get a thank you for working no-stop and I'm still confused as ever about what my job is. I got a text from my brother the next day saying "Your in today" and I thought you know what, I'm fed up! They can't even be bothered to call me and have to get my brother to do it! So unprofessional I shouldn't have to be mucked about and led on and telling me stuff that isn't true! So I sent him a text saying I only said yes to a job in the first place because it was evenings. I haven't heard from them in over a week now. Thanks. All my family said it's awful how they lied and treated me. Also, I probably wont be getting paid for my days work as they wont contact me back. So unprofessional and wouldn't recommend working there. Also, I read reviews about the place online and people said it's too much money, the workers need to get an attitude change and be more professional. I know some of you may not understand and say that's life. Get over it. But I don't want to be in a job that will probably make me unhappy and get treated like crap. I now have a great idea for the future as me and my husband have started a T-Shirt business and it's doing well. I'm going to start blogging and doing more photography as that's what makes me happy. Be happy and not let anything get in your way. It's there lost that they lost you! STAY POSITIVE AND DO WHAT MAKES YOU HAPPY! <3 So have any of you had a bad experience in a job? Let me know in the comments. Thank you for reading chums! :)

Rosyn's Designs Glass Party | Trixel Soaf
Hello, I'm going to talk about my sister's business "Rosyn's Designs" So I was supposed to do this post last night, but when I got home I realised that I forgot my camera which was left at the party/my Nan's! but I've got it back now, so on we go. So yesterday evening, my older sister had a launch party at my Nan's for her glass business. These glasses are hand painted. This party was only for friends and family to see if they would sell and if so what people liked best so she knows for the future.
Tumblr media
So I went to my Nan's at lunch time to help prepare all the bags, glasses and music. I thought the bags were lovely, I think the colour theme for them are very pretty and matched well. Inside were green tissue paper, a business card and some butterflies which was a nice touch. To me everything seem pretty professional for a first time thing.  My sister Jodie, (top right photo) also looked very nice!
Tumblr media
The Christmas range went really quickly and did very well! The design on them were really well painted, and were a great gift for someone for Christmas or nice to have for yourself. There were so many glasses to choose from like ones with butterflies, firefly's, flowers and a lot more! They are all hand painted and takes her hours to do. Since she started painting glasses a while back, she's gotten a lot more better! So I know their be even more better years to come! All the glasses were only £5 each which is pretty cheap for something like that! Or 4 for £15. Great to have as presents for family or friends.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Over all. I think the night was a success! She sold so many last night and everyone that came loved them! and even ask for commissions. Jodie (my sister) thought she wouldn't sell any as she was so worried about it. But she did! I know I don't tell her but I am proud of her for what she's done! She's doing something she enjoys and I hope her business goes far! This is only the beginning. Well done Jodie! Thanks for reading Chums!
