@trntcrmm
Oh Amsterdam had been an experience for sure. First of all their game against Ajax had been horrible, hell they really had to improve their game by a few miles. But also everything that happened off pitch. Ted Lasso had given them the night off, no curfew in Amsterdam and first Colin had planned to stay with thw team but as.their plans progressed the player had pulled himself out of those plans and headed into the city himself. Planned had been a nice evening at a gay club he knew about from a guy he had met maybe a year earlier on holidays but Trent Crimm had showed up out of nowhere. Colin had been absolutely terrified, how had he even found him? Well turns out: trent crimm had followed him, like some creepy old stalker, to confront him or well more talk about his life. And that had been what they had done. Talk about it, together, as people that understood one another.
Now they were back in England, first practice after the horrific game against Ajax. Colin had gotten to the club a bit earlier than usual, setting his bag down in the locker room as Trent Crimm entered. Colin smiled a bit and greeted the journalost with a quivk handshake. “Exhausted. Absolutely brutal mondays” he chuckled slightly. “And you?” He asked in return while shoving his jacket into the locker that was assigned to him.
To be fair Colin had not slept a lot that night. The whole talk with Trent was stuck in his head and honestly the ache only got bigger with every day. Maybe he should at least tell Isaac abiut it… but the thought of that waa terrifying, it could ruin literally everything.
@boyfriendismywingman
Trent just nodded his head at Colin's reply. He even opened his mouth to tell him that he wasn't asking this because of the morning practice (now that he was spending almost every day with the team, he knew that the Monday practice is the worst), but because of the other thing. However, the locker room was notthe best place for that, as anyone could walk in anytime and could overhear them which could be dangerous. Not for Trent, though - to be honest he wouldn't be bothered about the others finding it out that he wasn't straight. They might have figured it out already as in the last few months he was like a Pride Parade announcement with his rainbow mug and the song YMCA. (To be fair, Dani Rojas noticed the mug, but he only commented on how cute Snoopy was on it.) He wasn't planning to come out in front of the team announcing that he was asexual, but actually he wouldn't mind people finding it out by themselves. Not the asexuality, of course, but the fact that he was queer.
For Colin, however, it was different as there were only a few openly gay professional footballers and that wasn't a coincidence. For Colin it would be more risky to come out, even to the team, than it had ever been for Trent. Even though the formal journalist presumed that the team wouldn't mind it as they had become more supportive and open-minded since Coach Lasso's arrival. Still, he knew it was Colin's own decision, and while he was there to support him, he definitely didn't want to interfere.
"I'm good, still trying to get used to the existence of vanilla vodka," he added, half-joking. He tried it for the first time in Amsterdam and he still couldn't decide whether he liked it or not. It was certainly unusual, especially for someone who mostly drank beer. "Anyway, do you have time to come to my office to talk about something in your interview?" he asked, quickly glancing around the locker room. There was no-one else around, but that didn't mean anything as Trent realised in these months with Richmond that the club had some extremely talented eavesdroppers, so he rather chose to be cautious. Using the interview was a good excuse as he did sit down with each and every footballer of the team and asked them questions, and while working those interviews into his book, he always came up with further questions.
#//sorry that it took me so bloody long#//but here it is#//also a kind reminder to everyone who reads this thread that my trent is asexual#boyfriendismywingman#verse: tba

Starter for @boyfriendismywingman
It was the first working day after the trip to Amsterdam, and Trent Crimm was feeling quite cheerful entering the Doghouse. He felt good because he no longer had the burden of accidentally discovering someone else’s secret. Seeing something he shouldn’t have seen; unwillingly violating the privacy of others. He wasn’t supposed to find out Colin’s secret, and when he did, he wanted to tell him about it and assure him that he wouldn’t tell it to anybody, but he didn’t know how. A football club wasn’t the best place to discuss the topic of homosexuality. He tried giving him signals like bringing in a rainbow-striped mug or blasting first the soundtrack of Le cage aux folles and then Y.M.C.A. while working in his office when Colin was around, but he didn’t seem to get the clue. (On the other hand, at least half of the team had the song stuck in their heads.) Trent had to follow him to a gay bar in Amsterdam to finally tell it to him, which was pretty dramatic, but he didn’t see any other way to let him know his secret was safe with him. But it went well, and in the end they had a great time drinking and dancing in that gay bar. It was a bit like the good old days with Archie Westbrooke, his high school best friend. He was actually happy with the way the events turned out.
Walking through the locker room, he saw Colin was already there, so he stopped to greet the footballer. “Good morning, Colin,” he said, holding out his hand for a handshake. “How are you?”

Chapters: 1/1 Fandom: Ted Lasso (TV) Rating: General Audiences Warnings: No Archive Warnings Apply Relationships: Trent Crimm & Ted Lasso Characters: Ted Lasso, Trent Crimm Additional Tags: headcanon based, Random & Short, kispál és a borz Summary: When Trent Crimm gets the news that one of his long-time favourite bands is returning for a concert, he decides to go and see them, even if he has to travel through half of Europe, and since his high school best friend got sick and had to cancel the trip, he takes Ted with him. Notes: This is extremely self-indulgent, but I have a headcanon that Trent is a fan of the Hungarian band Kispál és a Borz ( would be Kispál and the Badger in English as Kispál is the lead guitarist’s last name) after hearing them in a music festival, and since this weekend there was a music festival in a small town of the Southwest of Hungary in which they did return for a concert, I thought Trent would definitely want to go to see them. Originally, I didn’t even want to write about this, but I was at that concert yesterday and on my way home I had this idea, so I wrote this little thingy about Trent Crimm and Ted Lasso on Orfű.
And here is a playlist with Trent Crimm’s favourite songs by Kispál és a Borz.

some “ted lasso” prompts (season 1)
feel free to adjust wording/pronouns/etc as needed!
“if that’s a joke, i love it. if not, i cannot wait to unpack that with you.” “do you believe in ghosts?” “good times aren’t always a good time, i’ve found.” “i never know how to react when a grown man beatboxes in front of me.” “sometimes the best way to stick it to the man is to go right between his legs, huh?” “i’m not always sure what’s a joke and what isn’t.” “i’m me. why would i wanna be anything else?” “and all this time i thought men couldn’t multitask.” “i am equally livid.” “i’m sorry, i have a real tricky time hearing folks who don’t believe in themselves.” “i am cute as a button and i can rhyme my ass off. god, it’s no wonder they want to destroy me.” “that’s not a compliment i’ve had before.” “you know what you do with tough cookies, donchya? you dip ‘em in milk!” “i used to think that was the funniest thing i’d ever seen, but then i just saw that, and now i’m gonna have to rethink my order of what i think is the funniest thing i’ve ever seen.” “you look like you’ve forgotten something.” “i don’t like being tricked.” “wow, you’re like, really, really bad at impressions, man.” “i know he’s trying to push my buttons, but i cannot be manipulated!” “i could push all of your buttons right now if i wanted to.” “it made me think of you. it’s strong and a bit prickly.” “you know, i’ve decided to not be scared of you anymore.” “come on, you wouldn’t have said something if you weren’t dying to show someone.” “i feel like a teenage boy. i can’t stop staring at them.” “wow, you really blew my brains out with those beautiful breasts of yours!” “enough. i’ve had it with your mind games and your stupid gifts.” “what you’re doing is irresponsible.” “for me, success is not about the wins and losses.” “it ain’t always easy, but neither is growing up without someone believing in you.” “i really enjoyed getting to spend this time with you.” “i’m done with you being a prick to everyone.” “i am a world class problem solver.” “oi. down, boy.” “i had a hunch you were going to pick this dress. and might i say, you are wearing the heck out of it.” “this is gonna be so uncomfortable.” “well, here’s an idea that’s gonna help a little or hurt a whole lot: who needs a drink?” “why is your face so close to mine?” “i don’t want to be alone.” “you looked so jealous. it was so cool.” “oh, you think jealousy is cool, do you?” “you do not want to judge this book by its cover right here, okay?” “you may think that you’re the only one who can see who he really is, but you’re not.” “will you stop being mad at me now?” “do you even know what you’re sorry for?” “being accountable matters.” “do you wanna go get, like, really drunk?” “you really don’t have to talk about this if you don’t want to.” “it feels good to laugh.” “and this sharing of feelings is because i opened up to you? well, that’s a lesson learned.” “you can’t get mad! you broke up with me.” “what am i supposed to do? shower by myself?” “why be sorry? i think it’s all going rather smashingly.” “no judgement, but are you back with that twat?” “i’d kiss you on the mouth if i could reach those lips.” “i’m sort of famous for being almost famous.” “nice recovery. well executed.” “every day i wake up hoping that i’ll feel the way i felt at the beginning.” “that’s the thing though, isn’t it? if you’re with the right person, even the hard times are easy.” “i promised myself i would never quit anything in my life.” “i really wanted to be the one to comfort you, not break it to you.” “wow! that was on purpose, yes?” “we got ourselves a curse to reverse.” “that’s too many ghosts.” “we cannot fight them all.” “you’re a battler. it’s really hot. but maybe someday you should stop battling people who are just trying to help you.” “a lot warmer over there by the fire.” “you’re not always right. most of the time you’re an arse.” “i didn’t know i had abandonment issues until right now!” “i’m gonna tell you something, but then i don’t wanna talk about it ever again, okay?” “i could really use a bucket of coffee to nurse this hangover.” “you seem intent on going 12 rounds with yourself. why? what did you do wrong?” “so that’s how you get sex? by not trying for sex?” “you took off like it was a shit kiss, and it was not a shit kiss! i was on fire.” “why don’t you just come and tell me how you feel about it once you’ve figured out how to speak again?” “okay, this is my fucking nightmare.” “i like to give away joy for free.” “so, why should i trust this sudden change of heart?” “i believe some folks call it white knighting, but i’m just following my gut here.” “i’m gonna kiss you now. unless it’s gonna make you run away again.” “i thought we were friends. you had every opportunity to do the right thing and you never did.” “don’t deny it or pretend that you don’t know.” “can you just tell me i fucked up and then go?” “imagine doing something unforgivable to someone who doesn’t deserve it and then having to look them in the eye and tell them what you’ve done.” “i forgive you.” “you know, i think that if you care about someone, and you got a little love in your heart, there ain’t nothing you can’t get through together.” “there are a lot of surprises happening here.” “i think it makes me look how i feel: chill.” “you know what the little shit did? he forgave me.” “i lost my way for a minute, but i’m on the road back.” “i think men who feel sorry for themselves are so sexy.” “who put a firecracker up your butt and lit it?” “that was the sexiest fucking thing i’ve ever seen in my life.” “i never know how to react when a grown man does the carlton in front of me.” “last night i had a nightmare that i was pecking you to death like a crow. i’m so sorry.” “this is why it’s hard to love you.” “oops, innit?” “it’s the hope that kills you.” “not everyone in your life is out to get you.” “what? thought you respected honesty.” “i think it’s the lack of hope that comes and gets you.” “i believe in hope. i believe in belief.” “i love you when you give a shit.”

Coffee [OPEN]
I. Need. Coffee.
Despite the rather cold weather, Trent Crimm almost fell asleep as he was sitting on the bleachers, watching the morning training of AFC Richmond. He was supposed to observe the players and making notes, but he was mostly struggling with keeping his eyes open. He was up for a long time, he had to admit that, but normally he wasn’t this tired after getting to bed past midnight. Was he getting old?
The only thing he knew that he needed some caffeine, some fuel to get his engine running again. There was still a long day ahead of him, he couldn’t fall asleep, especially now that the team members were actually speaking to him. It wasn’t much though, but a ‘Hello’ was still better than nothing.
Seeing the coffee machine in the hall, Trent let out a deep, relieved sigh. He pulled his wallet out of his pocket and put a coin into the machine. It fell out. He tried it again, but he still wasn’t lucky. He even tried with another coin, but it also fell out, making him more and more desperate.
“I can’t believe this,” he mumbled, fighting the urge to hit the machine. “What do I have to do to get a decent coffee here?”
