Giasims Alpha Fix:

I have fixed alpha issues on Giasims’s Road to Avonlea dress and set of lace dresses. Both meshes have been included. All colors of the lace dress have been done, and the white has also been enabled for undies and nightwear due to the lack of period-appropriate undergarments. No more leg-flesh-toned eyelet!

More Realistic Genetics

This mod makes hair and eye color genetics more realistic. It’s based on a simplified real life model of genetics in which there are two genes of eye color (a brown/non-brown gene and a green/blue gene) and two genes of hair color (a dark/blonde gene and a non-red/red tone gene). In the game, there is one gene for eye color and one for hair color, so the mod is an approximation of an approximation [sic] of real life genetics, which is much more complicated. There are lots of genes that influence eye and hair color, and not every one of them is strictly dominant or strictly recessive. This mod is almost the same as pre-released simNopke-improvedGenetics. You may replace it with the new version, but it’s not necessary as long as you don’t want to use a nonstandard version. Update (24 JUL 17): Added a new version for those who use brown or black default replacements of dark blue eyes.

New genetics rules Blonde hair dominates over red (but still black and brown hair are the most dominant). Dark blue eyes are as recessive as light blue and gray, green eyes dominate over them. Brown eyes are still the most dominant human eyes. Alien eyes dominates over all (like custom eyes) and any sim can use them. They are available in Bodyshop. Existing sims’ appearance won’t be affected. There are also two other versions for people who use nonstandard default replacements of dark blue eyes:

simNopke-moreRealisticGenetics-hazel makes dark blue eyes as dominant as green. Use for hazel, amber or green DRs.

simNopke-moreRealisticGenetics-brown makes dark blue eyes as dominant as brown. Use for brown or black DRs.

Choose only one version of the mod. simNopke-moreRealisticGenetics is also a version.

Conflicts

Creature fixes by Pescado, because of alien eyes changes. Both mods work fine together as long as my mod loads after Pescado’s.

Mods changing genetics, visibility in the catalog or “townification” of blonde hair, alien, green or dark blue eyes. I don’t recommend using them with this mod. But if you really want to keep those mods, make sure they load after this mod.

3t2 Sweater Sweetheart converted by @deedee-sims ♥

I’ve been in an unusually dedicated mood lately - not dedicated to anything practical to my life that I SHOULD be doing, but dedicated nonetheless - and have figured out that recoloring clothes is not as hard and daunting as I feared. Well, at least with when .psd’s are provided, as the ever lovely DeeDee does! So without further ado, here’s my very first set! *o* Yaaaay! 

(Tbh I wanted to save it and put together a really great follower’s gift because I can’t believe 700+ people and pornbots even follow me, but I was much too excited to do that right now, so I’ll get to work on that soon!)

I’ve recolored DeeDee’s 3t2 Sweater Sweetheart dress! You’ll want to head over to that post, because the mesh is NOT INCLUDED. I haven’t figured out the process of slaving textures so I figured it best if you pick up the mesh and her three recolors from her. This is only for adult females, btw! I’m hoping to figure out this slaving process for the teens and elders! (Will update this post if i ever get there)

I tried to keep it pretty simple for the first time around - and by simple I decided sure let’s WORK WITH PATTERNS! There’s two folders included - one is simply colors, featuring 10 dresses in Poppet’s Memories palettes with coordinating jackets; the other is 7 dresses with vintage printed jackets, and then because I am me, I reversed it and did 7 printed dresses with solid color jackets. The point is, there’s plenty to choose from! Swatches are included and each file is labeled accordingly so you can pick and choose from what you want!

Also included in the file is UNEDITED SCREENSHOTS so you can see what you’re getting. Please note I ended up choosing an awfully yellow-y wall because I was not thinking straight but otherwise the colors should show pretty true. 

I have a feeling I might revisit this dress later to do some brighter colors or throw out some more pinks but you know! First time!!!!!!!

20 Sliders

This is a set of 20 face sliders available for use in Bodyshop, CaS, and in the plastic surgery view. These sliders create inheritable facial features (of course if not used for a plastic surgery), and can be used on uploaded sims without downloaders needing to download the slider in order for the sim to display properly. Sim files do not contain information about used sliders.

If you have my pre-release set of sliders (simNopke-sliders1) delete it before you install the new set.

I bring you a quick ‘n’ colourful hair recolour today. It’s in my usual textures/naturals, with some unnaturals to boot. The gradients were only an experiment, but I thought they turned out decent in the end. Elders go grey with the naturals. All unnaturals are unbinned. Everything’s in the one folder, so delete as you wish. :) Enjoy!
