an escape is what i really need now. if only i don’t have to rush my (college) projects, but reality would be 10x a lot more harder, isn’t it?

yesterday i skipped work because i have 3 students to teach every hour. with all that “distractions”, i’d rather earn less rm50 from not working rather than feeling even more frustrated whenever i can’t get the job done.

this EP is by far the most personal thing i’d ever put out there. though i’m working with a lot of people on this, i don’t think anyone can ever understand the emotional attachment that is involved; from the songs that i wrote, to the stories that i’m about to tell the world, to asking everyone on their thoughts and opinions of how i should produce this properly.

i don’t see myself as a singer-songwriter; never was and never will. i’m an engineer, more towards recording and mixing. but i write songs, and i love to perform. this EP is a collaboration project under TSG with a bunch of super-talented friends from college.  it will always be my favourite memory in my musical journey.

so yes, this project is a big deal. even after i submit it this Wednesday, i’m gonna take a complete break, send it all around for more thoughts and opinions, and then maybe i’ll release it for good.

The Simple Graffiti

May 7, 2011 was a day to be remembered. -lol- Not really. Just a day when Ainul and I created a YouTube account under the name The Simple Graffiti. Currently we’re known as ;

Two crazy girls that came up with the idea of creating a YouTube account just because we like to sing :D.
