So much love for this advert, I didn’t realise it was complained about so much though.

The Travel Tracker acts as a ‘check-in’ like on Facebook.

I have also expanded the app to a website so that the blog can be reached from a mixture of outlets. I have also included a Travel Tracker so that people at home can see that the traveler has reached their destinations.

The Topdeck app works as a blog for the traveler and a way of keeping updated for those at home.

I thought about maybe creating a Topdeck App which keeps loved ones in the know at home but also allows the traveler to share their experiences. It could be completely separate to the Topdeck website and wouldn’t have deals and offers on, it would solely be used for updating people back home of your adventure. I found this site really helpful and was unaware of some of the apps you could purchase already.

I have mentioned in this brief about promoting safety when travelling abroad and possibly on your own. I would like to design for Topdeck a feature which lets family and friends know your’e safe when travelling.

Playing around with the flip book idea for the brochure.

One of the ideas I had for the brochure inserts was to create a concertina book with them where the deals would drop down below. I do like this idea but it wouldn't work with the flip book style of the front cover.

Brochure pages which will act as the start of the chapters. The structure is similar to that of the posters so that the design flows throughout.

Using the yellow from the website and the images used for the poster designs I have designed some tags for luggage and the Topdeck passport cover.

Designing the website I wanted to steer clear of the current design which is quite busy and I found that the deals and package holidays where just beeing thrown at you. This is a more simplistic design which is clear and to the point.
The slideshow takes you to different parts of the website including a page where by answering a few questions the site does all the hard work and finds the perfect holiday for you. I think this feature would be a more appealing way of looking for a package holiday/trip as it could throw out some suggestions in which the customer had never thought of when looking. It also takes away the hard work for the potential customer and is a different way to look for a holiday.
