Now do I or don’t I overanalyze the main masks for the legion members when absolutely no one has ever thought that deep into it?

Julie’s chicken scratched out mouth tying into her feelings towards how she’s viewed as a woman, sit down, shut up, look pretty.

Susie’s cracked middle fracturing like her own emotions and the war between her love for Julie her guilt for murder and her resentment towards a world that left her trampled.

Joey’s skull patterns tying into systematic doom that took his brothers and now him, not to mention his flavor text on the separation blade showing out of all the legion members Joey is most willing to kill himself to escape hell- which ties him more intimately to death.

And Frank’s smile, finally having a unit, not a family unit- but a unit enough. People who won’t and can’t leave him. Of course he smiles.

Not to mention these masks aren’t the masks Julie made, she mentions how she needs to make them proper masks later before they break into the hardware store, and they get taken by the fog before she can ever make good on that promise. Even in the comic when the fog comes for Susie who hung back while the others entered it willingly their plain masks (like bush party’s) have swapped for the ones they wear now.

These are entity crafted, pieced together in their image. Using Susie’s teeth and braces as inspiration and their internal motivations and dread to fashion them accordingly.

Or I am actually crazy and even the design team would be gobsmacked at how far I will reach to juice every bit of legion lore I can find.

Thats me lol, watched all of RTTE despite knowing ROB existed. It was just too much of a pain to try to find while RTTE was readily available. So I just watched that one.

Most things I just accepted, Johann didn't even register to me as someone I should have known cause he was just a trader dude. Dagur I also just accepted cause he was just a deranged guy escaping jail. Didn't know the context but understood he did not like hiccup.

I ended up watching ROB finally a year after my second rewatch of RTTE. It was pretty good and gave context for stuff. I still prefer RTTE and I don't think its actually required to start with ROB but it would be nice for some context things

Incredibly fascinated by the fans who watch Race to the Edge before Riders and Defenders. Like, not the ones who didn't even know Riders and Defenders existed, but those who do know and just skip to RttE either because of a lack of access or care.

i think legion did the funniest thing with julie/frank because initially it kinda seemed like a veronica jd sich where it's this #rebel delinquent from out of time who takes advantage of a girl who's disaffected with her world/town/etc and instead pivoted to 'yes there's something wrong with him but there is also something much more wrong with her and they are actually in a very loving relationship much to everyone else's detriment'. insane how when her and frank are talking he mentions some stuff abt his history w abuse in foster care and she goes 'oh hm maybe that's why i'm so into you. damage builds character' AND HE IS RECEPTIVE IT TO IT? insane. 10/10 couple no notes

FRANK AND JULIE ARE LITERALLY THE BEST DYNAMIC I LOVE THEM AND HAVE SINCE THEIR TOME LORE.

Julie is someone who is so….incredibly….unapologetically….fucked in the head. She cannot be a healthy partner TO LITERALLY ANYONE ELSE her and Susie? Unhealthy as hell (that is the appeal in them, that’s a sapphic canon event) her and Joey? HORRIBLE IT WOULD BE HORRIBLE HE IS SO NORMAL HE CANNOT DO THAT HE KNOWS BETTER THAN TO TRY THAT.

Julie is selfish, and sadistic, and gets off on being the worst version of herself. EVEN JEFF SEES THAT AND WARNS SUSIE OFF OF HER. The only person who can possibly even come close to matching her energy is Frank because while she can bat her lashes and babydoll eyes to Susie to get whatever she wants FRANK SEES STRAIGHT THROUGH HER

He has been around so many people like her, cruel, manipulative, two faced, she cannot slip it past him. That golden daughter good girl act, the popular girl facade, it’s all a ruse and Frank plays into it. HE IS INTO IT.

He calls her on it. And that’s never happened before. And that’s why he’s worthy of her attention in her eyes…

They are such little freaks I need more matching skins for them I need more Frank and Julie things in my life THEY ARE MY LIFE BLOOD.

Him being so protective of her clashing so well with her reckless adrenaline chasing too GOD I’m forever grateful for the fact they leaned into Julie being the worse of the pair, that is the closest we’ve come to world piece.

Why I'm absolutely terrified of dating. Sometimes I wonder if I'm Actually Asexual or if the idea of dating is just so nauseating that I'm there anyway

For anyone wondering how a lot of cishet men actually view us, in the comment section of a cishet guy’s transphobic post (classic transmisogyny of “ew woman with a dick”) he talked about how hot he thinks ftm bodies (no bottom surgery) are and said something along the lines of “yeah they’ll never be men but if you just call them good boys, they’re fun to play with” some agreement with that from others or people going “well yeah because it’s straight, straight men are attracted to women”, the most disgusting was the guy that said “a woman with a mental illness…. Could be fun.” OP also then proceeded to call post op ftm bodies mutilated. The way he spoke also made it sound like he had some actual experience with trans men, this man probably manipulated some poor guy into sex, and has the gall to say trans women are predatory.

This wasn’t even a political discussion subreddit or anything like that, and not one dedicated to any sort of kink or nsfw. Just out in the wild. I usually find a lot of these types on my own because of the adult content I make, so obviously it’s expected I get literally hundreds (I’m not joking, I mean HUNDREDS) of these guys interacting with me, because yeah duh there’s a shit ton of chasers and you’re going to attract a lot of them when you do this. But finding a handful just shamelessly, publicly admitting to it, in a sfw place? The disgust hit me a different way.

Also only one person in a different comment thread pointed out how vile it was. Everyone else was like “oh just a niche fetish”, manipulating trans guys into fucking you by lying to their face and calling them women behind their back isn’t a “niche fetish”

I've fought about this many times with people. For the voices and writing like its the same.

listen I say this with patience bc some people may genuinely have not thought about this before but if you firmly say “AI art is terribly unethical and steals from artists” (which is correct) but then turn around and use voice AIs to generate songs/voice lines that sound like your favourite voice actors or singers……………………………………that is also AI art and it is also terribly unethical
